Sweet.
Looks like noone informed the Clone Wars guys that Anakin would put a glove over his metal hand. Or get a prosthetic?
This picture pisses me off. Torn up Republic/Imperial flag my arse.

Yeah, I mean, that red one IS a torn up Republic flag...
What's interesting in that picture is the blue standard held by the battle droid. Could that be the emblem of the Confederation? It has only six spokes/sections around the central circle, like the later Imperial emblem.
So evidence suggests that the emblem used by the Empire could be a merger between those of the Republic and the Confederacy. Interesting...

Or maybe Anakin waited until the later days of the war (or just after a certain point) to put a glove over the bare mechanisms.
It could also be a different prosthetic from the "gold bone" hand entirely, like a replacement after he lost or broke it.
I'd wait a bit though and see. It could end up that he just puts a glove over his gold hand at some point in the movie, much like Luke did in ROTJ (but for different reasons).

Victory Star Destroyer anyone?

In the Republic comic series, which takes place in between AOTC and Episode III, Anakin is depicted with a black glove over his gold hand, but the same arm is still in place.
My guess is that the glove is supposed to protect the fragile mechanisms on the hand, as they seem quite exposed. At the same time, the glove is reminiscent of Luke's gloved hand in ROTJ.

Insider 75 has a good shot of Hayden resting after filming the duel with Obi-Wan, you can have a good look at his glove (which has some sort of metal bindings on it) and his lightsaber; it is the same one that Luke uses in ANH and ESB. I guess that means that the duel will be a blue saber vs. blue saber match up, the first in SW history

. That should contrast well with the supposedly reddish background on the rumored lava planet Mustafar.

Errr ... can't you see the pictures I posted?

I keep expecting Anakin (Mr. Good with machines) to invent the realistic looking prosthetics that Luke uses later.
I just can't picture someone with his vanity and skills not trying to design and build something that he would feel comfortable touching Padamé with.

There is a rumour (nothing more) kicking around that the title for Episode III is 'The Creeping Fear'.

Wouldnt rate it particularly highly on my last of reliable sources, and I'm quite happy to sit around and wait till they actually bother to announce a title. If it's true, it's a bit of a silly name, I don't think it is, as the creeping fear doesnt quite sum up all the spilled blood we're going to have to see, there's no way Lucas can make EpIII 'creeping' and subtle, so I think it's bollocks.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to fit with the expected story arc.
The titles are often announced around August of the previous year, so we'll have to wait a few more months until it's actually known.

Pretty sure. I'll look for the source later. And it wouldn't be very good of a joke if it only happened on the first.

I don't think anything's been said whether he is or isn't.

theforce.net says it was a joke.
"EP3: TOS April Fool's Joke

Now that StarWars.com has changed the submenu back to In Production from The Creeping Fear, the April Fool's gag is finally over. Yes, we did see it and yes, we got plenty of email about it. In fact, we may just send them all to our good buddies at StarWars.com to enjoy.
Pablo and Paul, we hate you

"
And it was taken off starwars.com, so...

I always thought Anakin would be the one to figure or invent the passing on thing, considering what he says in Ep1 about one day learning how to stop people from dying. Question is when does Obiwan tell/teach Anakin? Makes for a better tie in the other way around IMO.
Though at least there's some hinting in increased jedi powers, just hope its not matrix revolutions like powers

I think that you weren't alone in that thought, I believe Stravo made the same point in this forum a while ago when we were commentating on the AotC commentary by George Lucas.
Although in the EU it appears to be a technique which is well known among the Jedi (Callista). Although, admitantly, that instance was of transfering your soul/presence/personality/intelligence/whatever into another body (like Palpy does with his clones) than maintaining identity within the Force...
Maybe it requires preperation, explaining why Qui-Gon didn't manage to do it.

I've read that the Cartoon Network Clone Wars mini series is acutally part of the Star Wars universe now, it's a source of hints about the future, though poorly drawn.

Yes...it's on the offical level.
Now what does this have to do with Episode 3 spoilers?
