Looks good to me, except that "electronics" isn't a field of study. By field of study I meant things like psychology, economics, or history. In-depth knowledge of electronics and electrical systems would be Engineering, while knowing a lot about them and being able to fix them would be Mechanic (electronics).
EDIT: Aside from that, go ahead and send it to Heath to put up on the site.

Made a huge update. Added a price list for common equipment so you can all finally do your inventories correctly ($2,000 total value max, sorry to those who wanted arsenals to start with) and more importantly a timeline of events from the real present to the game's present (2030). And instead of giving closed-bolt guns a +1 AT, open bolt guns have a -1 AT. It just works out easier that way.
EDIT: Oh, and for those who haven't heard we start on this Tuesday. Don't worry if you don't have your character in by then as it's easier to work in characters shortly after the starting point than all at once anyway.
EDIT: Changed the total max value to $2,000 instead of $1,000. That's quite generous as you'll see there was a long period of deflation in the timeline.

Quick note about the equipment lists, as there's some confusion I think:
"Cheap" could be a gun that's either really old or cheaply made. Most of the modern guns on the list would be cheap, unless they were produced more recently. Brand new guns that would be cheap might be things like Tec-9s.
"Average" refers to the majority of guns out there. Either high quality guns like Berettas and Glocks that have seen some use or brand new second rate knockoffs that aren't quite poor enough to be considered "saturday night specials".
"Good" refers to brand new guns made by high quality manufacturers. Depending on how it's treated, a gun can stay in this state indefinitely, but usually reverts to average within a few years.

Sweet update, Art. I really enjoy the background, nice job on that.
Quick question: What type of ammo would .30-06 and .44 mag be? I'm thinking medium, but you know more about that shit than I do.

I too with my horribly liberal bias, enjoyed your background.

You guessed it, medium. And thanks for the compliments on the background, both of you.
P.S. It has been requested that the starting equipment amount be raised, and although it's not my intention for people to be able to start with virtual arsenals, I saw his point. So make it $4,000 worth of equipment instead of 2 grand. Sorry to people who have already done their inventories, but I suspect you won't mind too much

Just a quick update on characters: those of you that sent me new versions, I haven't yet gotten around to looking them over and posting them on the site. I will do that when I get out of class later today. If anyone else still has changes to make to their characters, just send em on over.
quick question

I am assuming that the 4,000 creds is there for weapons/ammo/armor and so on. How about housing? Are we all living on the street or is it assumed that we can afford to pay our rent, utilities, food, etc?

That stuff is assumed. I've run games before where month to month finances were calculated, and I didn't find the effort to be worth it.

Just starting to work on the opening post. It will be made in the thread "Official Tensided Cyperpunk RPG Campaign".

Still have changes to make. Get the final version done by tonight, hopefully.

I've submitted what should be my final-final-final character sheet.
Wouldn't you know that now is the time that work decides to get serious about where people go on the internet. I'm still able to check in the morning before and in the evening after at home, so I don't anticipate a problem. If something goes terribly awry, I'll let you know.

I posted the new sheets that I got today. Thanks, guys.
Please download them for yourselves and check to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. I added prices for your inventory (I think I got everybody), and made some minor changes to weapon tables, inventory, and the like. But I want you to check them and tell me if I fucked anything up.
Sheets on the site are considered "official," i.e. any disputes over equipment, stats, etc. are settled by looking at those, so if there are any problems, let me know now.
CorSec: Goddamn gestapo. If you can check the thread at least once a day, though, that should be fine.

Considering how long we've had access, I'm surprised we went so long unfettered. I'm a little put off, but ultimately I'm not bothered. So far, it looks like everyone who was into fantasy football (ESPN) is blocked, as are all of the major game sites (MSN, etc). The only two that I found that are part of my normal patrol is this site and MegaProxy.com. MegaProxy is totally blocked, while I'm only diverted from this site with a warning that it may contain material unsuitable for work. I
could still view this site but I'd rather wait and see how the new internet policy enforcement shakes out.
Hmm... makes me want to start a new thread...

I'm gonna be in Buenos Aires from tomorrow until Monday. I'll probably still be on the net at least once a day so I don't see it being a problem in terms of our game, but it's not a gurantee. Just a heads up.
just a quick question

Hey guys,
I just wanted to know how will the dice rolling be handled? Are we all rolling in the comforts of our own home with our own die and then reporting the results? is there a program that I have to download?

Was under the impression that our intrepid GM would handle such things.

My first die roll I did myself... I had just assumed that our GM would tell us if we were successful or not.
