661 watched the interrogation coldy, utterly uncaring. While he didnt endorse the idea of needlessly tormeting captives, he didnt object, either. It was part of the job, and he had grown used to it.

147 simply sighed and got out his medical kit. If they wanted to keep him alive... well, it was best to be prepared before they went too far.

"Here is your litter carrier. We'll gag him to keep him quiet, and if he can't keep up, we'll find ways to motivate him. One more question, how often and how big are patrols from the base?"

MKSheppard wrote:"Yes, This alien bastard by the name Garf, Gork, or so is delivering a load of munitions to the base today, everyone hates him, but he always seems to have the hottest goods in the sector."
529 laughed to himself at this latest answer.

Hottest goods in the sector...oh, the Rebels have no idea just how "hot" some of those items are...

As soon as the prisoner is taken care of the engineer is stable and 454(Sgt) is awake, the squad will move out towards the base. 312(Sabot) and 661(Sniper) wil rotate the point, followed by 529(Assault), 454(Sgt), 113(Lt), 424(Tech), prisoner carrying the Eng, 147(Medic), and 735(SC). We will move in a commando file(weapons altenating direction), with a 5 meter seperation, with the exception of the point position, which will be 15-20 meters ahead. Radio silence will be maintained unless contact is made with an enemy force.

"Let's move out troops!"

It's now several hours later, and they are just reaching the outskirts
of the Rebel Base's defensive perimeter, and they come to a stop, to
check whether they've been detected.

Meanwhile, the Engineer is slowly waking up. "Oh, my head, what
hit me..."

454 bolts awake, feeling as bewildered as all people do when they regain consciousness.

"Am I still alive?"

His head clears as he shakes it.

"Nevermind."

He gets up as if nothing happened.

"424(Tech), do a scan to see if we are in or near any sensor nets." 114(Lt) will pull out his macrobinoculars and if most of the base can be seen from there position, then the squad will form an OP.

147 looked down at the engineer.

"You broke a leg and suffered a concussion Is there any part of you that hurts?"

He pointed to the prisoner they had just designated as "pack mule".

"He is going to carry you. Tell me if he tries anything funny. Or tell the others. But it's better if you tell me, because at least I know how to kill him humanely. Better for him, at least."

Gorp guided the repulsor sled off the cargo platform while his droid started to unload the containers. Some nerftard's Corellian light courier was taking up way too much of the docking bay.

Gorp sets the repulsor sled in a spot clear of the cargo lift, and then stands and waits for some personell to show up and pick up and pay for the shipment. Hopefully they'll have some garbage again to pay him to take away.

Commander Entwe Hasil walked up to the foul smelling alien, and nodded
slightly, trying to hide his disgust at working with the evil creature. He
knew that the rebellion was all for freedom and galactic brotherhood, but
goddamn, those hippies didn't have to work with this kind of scum.

"Here's your payment."

With that, he handed over a sealed suitcase containing several thousand
credits' worth of Korelian Gems. Normally, the Rebellion paid their people
with untraceable SCreds, but recently, the heat had been on their forgers
and money launderers, and besides, Gorp always insisted on hard credit,
and he did deliver after all.

"Oh yes, you can have our garbage if you want."

Another good thing Gorp did was he took their garbage, no
questions asked, this saved them the trouble of having to spend
energy to distengrate it, and lowered their base's EM signature,
and best of all, they didn't have to pay Gorp to take it away.

Sucker... thought both sides as they nodded and walked away with
what they wanted.

424 finished his passive scan for sensors and reported.

"Sir, I've detected a fair amount of smart landmines in the
area from their very ultra low level emissions. Seems they're
by our planned entry point to the base."

Kriff thought 114.

"424, You're on mineclearing duty, you took the course on how
to disable the damned things." ordered 114 as he scanned the
cliff face where the entrance was. No obvious laser turrets, or
signs of laser cutting that betrayed hidden surprises.

anything funny. If he tries anything, I'll beat him to death with
my cock." replied Scott.

147 glanced down at the injured man.

"With your dick, I imagine his death would be rather humane... unless of course you did not choose to kill him by piercing his brain stem with a sharp needle-like object and instead chose to scratch him to death..."

"312(Sabot) cover 424(Tech) as goes mine-clearing. 454(Sgt), take 661(Sniper), 735(SC) and the rocket launchers and go site them in on the prearranged targets. Forget the timers, we'll take our chances with just the remote signal. You have two hours, move out!. The rest of us are going to continue our recon, and maybe ask our friend here some more questions."

Gorp fiddled with the case and peered at the gemstones ((Assuming it's in fact openable and that they wisely gave him a real payment)). They shined and sparkeled under most of the wavelengths he viwed them under. Knowing the galaxy's general obsession with things like this, Gorp estimated their value on the open market as roughly 5,000 credits. To Gorp, they had absolutely no value beyond how much food or garbage they'd fetch.

He gurgled at their sight. "I guess I can sell these damn rocks for something of value." He said to the uniformed mass of cells. He stood by the repulsor sled and waited for his droid to finish clearing before pushing it back on the cargo lift.

"Bring your trash nearby, then. Somewhere it can be loaded up. And for three weeks since last time, it better be a large amount." He waited for the lift to be cleared of its first load before going back up and overseeing the last few crates.

"At ease there 147(Medic). Remember you are talking to a superior officer." The way 114(Lt) says it, he doesn't sound like he means it for it to be a harsh reprimand.

"Of course, boss. "

He turned to the civilian and gave a curt neck bow.

"Sorry... sir...", he said, spelling it C-U-R.

Damned if I'm going to apologize to any cake-eater who makes my job more difficult.

"On the top of that cliff, below the observation tower, it's got
bunkers, smart minefields, everything! And one fuckload
of guards, about a platoon in the bunkers, and another platoon
in the base below roughtly. THey can be in the bunkers to
reinforce the other platoon in 30 seconds or less, I've seen
them do it during their weekly drills the last time I was here."

"Cliff Door? There's no cliff door!" cried out the man in befuddlement.

[OOC: He's referring to the main entrance thru the bunkers on the
plan of the base I showed you]
"Are there any codewords used for gaining entrance?"
"No, they all know us on sight, and are authorized to stun intruders
for interrogation."
