I can, *dubs self Ohio Election Correspondant*.
No this doesn't count those and it also doesn't count votes that have to be audited before they are tallied(the ones where there was some problem during polling, name not on the list, etc.)

Ohio's Seceretary of State has said that all votes will be counted by tommorow morning, and that INCLUDES absentee ballots. Whether that happens or not, I'm not sure, but that is apparently what he said.

I trying to get a definite answer, since if there are 1.8 million absentee ballots from Florida I don't see how it can be called without them.

Well, actually, I did just hear something on CNN that it would take Kerry winning 80% of the absentee ballots to overturn the results of tonight

Ohio update (again): 77 percent precincts reporting, Bush leading with around 145,000 votes. Agonizing wait, isn't it?

My local radio station just had a person on who basically said Ohio is now the deciding state. He even expanded it to the point that Ohio is going to be decided by how many people in the Toledo area get out and vote.

I must register a complaint in that CNN's results page should allow you to see how many electoral votes each state has.

Or if they do, then I'm just a moron.

78%, Bush up by 125,000.

Edit: 79% in Ohio. Bush still up by 125,000. Kerry's running out of precincts to try and make up the difference.

Colorado called for Bush. The electoral vote initiative failed, so Bush gets all 9 votes.

Bush 237
Kerry 188

I promise that I won't, because I honestly thought that Kerry would win.

No. The worst part will be waiting until December for it to be finalized, while wondering to ourselves this:

The first term a President generally plays it safe to ensure re-election. If the man who thought PATRIOT wasn't enough was playing safe then.. What are we in for now?

Well, duh, of course the liberals would vote. The only difference is that I *agree* with them.

No the worst part is living in the rest of the world for the next four years as Bush spreads the military paper thin across half the middle East, destroys any remaining civil rights in the US, implodes your economy...
