Molebank is still fairly quiet. I don't know of any groups claiming it, and zombies are currently low. I'm currently hanging out around the center of the 'burb.

That's good, because Molebank is right north of Reganbank, one of the rally points. If it were suddenly zombie infested, I'd have to revise my opinions of the Zombie Tracker and find yet another place to occaisionally move towards.

If you're still in the area in by mid-month we could meet up.

I'll be around, assuming my brains haven't been eaten.

That's good. I'll probably be in Northwest Reganbank, which is very close to Molebank. Assuming your ideology matches ours ("Don't Die, And Try Not To Let Others (Especially Other Members) Die In The Process Of Saving Yourself"), and if you have a pulse and are not a ravenous undead monstrosity, you are elligible for membership in the SDNSAG. This will mean absolutely nothing excepting the +1 added to the membership rolls and possibly the creation of a temporary safehouse nearby by SDNSAG Members some time before the Heat Death of the Universe.

I would suggest the factory on the south side of Molebank, it's safe, it's inconsipcuous and it's quiet. My firefighter has been quite happy, ax happy.

There is a dearth of useful buildings there, but changing the Official Rally Point twice in a day is wrong (because I say so). I'm sure the esteemed and newly minted SDNSAG Praetor fgalkin will be able to make up some official sounding law confirming my opinion. Then we'll all ignore the law anyway and change it twice a day a few times just to spite him in accordance with the Official Policy.

It doesn't matter where I say we're going, anyway. Anyone who seriosuly is hiking halfway across Malton to get to the rally point like myself doesn't actually have a real plan on where the hell they're going and are just as likely to end up there anyway.

Of course, anyone leaving safety and hiking halfway across Malton, risking life and limb in the name of an organization of four to five people has bigger problems anyway and in my opinion probably can't navigate a city anyway. ;) [No offense to anyone, including myself, attempting the Exodus.]

[Alright, Operation Run Like Hell or Drunken Exodus has started. I am currently VS Barricaded with three survivors in Featherstone Library in Pescodside after a mad dash to safety- small groups of zombies everywhere, and I wasted half my ammo shooting and missing at one like ten times for XP. I made it with four freaking AP. Current plan is to run Southwest all the way to Stanbury to avoid Known Zombie Clumps, and then West to Reganbank.]

Just suggesting locations, I'll be moving my Private into Reganbank and let my fireman accumulate AP until he can do some scouting, find a suitable safehouse. If I've got any AP left I'll see if I can get some XP.

You're actually attempting to do something productive for the group? Score one for Team Unpronouncable Acronym (Ess-Dee-En-Sag?)!

I'm not even going to bother firing at any more zombies, so if I wait for 35 AP befor emoving out I can cover quite a distance (a whole neighborhood, possibly) every day which means assuming a 24 hour delay for misc things I will arrive in Reganbank in 9 days (nearly right on schedrule). Running to new buildings is a pulse-pounding experience when you have absolutely no way to kill any zombies due to the fucking random number generator.

How the hell are you guys accessing the game? I keep getting "down for maintence" errors.

No idea. Occaisionally during my straight-line flight, especially while I was shooting at a Zombie, it would say down for maintainance, so I hit the back button and tried again a few times and it worked.

Is it safer to keep 10 AP at all times and move ASAP to a new building over and over, using that 10 AP to get back if it isn't safe, or to wait for 35-50 AP and run like hell to a new neighborhood?

I figure if I move to the next building, I'll have 7 left once I enter, and if I have to return it'll take 3 more, leaving me with 4 AP for emergency sprints or longer attempts to move on. But having to constantly retreat if the way isn't barricaded would mean that it may be safer and quicker just to put my trust in my leg muscles and run real fast.

My last remaining human character is in the far, far NE. Should I just make a new one if I plan on joining this group, or make my way over there over the next few weeks?

It's been like that for something on three hours. Crap, I've already gotten my AP to fifty, now it's spilling over...

Far Northeast? Like Dulston? I was in Oak Walk PD in North-by-Northeast Dulston just a few hours ago. Who are you and where? You can follow me through the safest route (I hope) if you can make it to Featherstone Library in southern Pescodside (South of Dulston, check the maps if you don't trust your navigation luck), though I doubt we can coordinate unless you want to IM me- I'm usually intermittantly online from like 2 Central US to the night. If you can coordinate, PM me for the Address.

Anyone who is alive can join SDNSAG. The location factor is just I (hopefully the other few members, too) am heading towards the Reganbank/Molebank/Becktown Area because the North is too unsafe and the Zombies might be moving South down the center soon according to Praetor fgalkin (His SDNSAG Leadership title is so awesome even I have fun using it, though I'll probably get sick of it soon). Plus, we're more useful to eachother if we are close together, even if we don't coordinate very well.

I'm one block west of Pescodside. Featherston Library should be an easy trip, provided it's not surrounded by heavily barricaded buildings. Character's name is Jogurt.

Look forward to seeing you. Operation Run Like Hell/Operation Drunken Exodus claims another dupe to think they can actually run a gauntlet through Malton.

Edit- Nevermind the IM part of this message, which has been purged.

Fuck.

My police station was attacked. I don't know by whom, I don't know when, but the thirteen players in it were annihilated. There were only three players left standing, the barricade was lightly barricaded, and I was infected at that. So I decided to run out and find a hospital with my 24 action points. I found one, searched, got lucky and found a first aid kit, then headed to find a safehouse with 5 AP. I lucked out and found an extremely heavily barricaded house with a level 13 in it, a factory, and then found two fuel cans and an axe with my remaining AP.

I'm lucky I'm not eating brain now. From now on it's factories and other pointless buildings for safehouses.

<edit>Oh I'm in Lerwill heights.</edit>

I found a first aid kit in a nearby hospital so I stopped the infection. Yes I do, I'm at 37 hp out of 50 and that makes me feel insecure. I'm at 29,58 in Lerwill Heights.

Going to make this factory my base and attack out of it, if the level 13 will let me.

It'll take me a day to get down there, I'm recharging AP as we speak, I'll start moving down tommarow, or you can move up slightly.

For reference I'm in East Becktown for healing purposes. 8)

I might try logging on later in the afternoon, but I won't go far unless I wait until tomorrow.

Do you "counterattack" when a zombie attacks you? If so it may be an advantage to have as many loaded pistols on you as possible.

No, when a zombie attacks while your Off, you get hurt, I nearly died that way but you can negate that by staying away from major areas and barricading, zombies don't kill Heavy Barricades for fun. They stick to bringing down hospitals, PDs,Firestations etc.

I'm at 9XP.

I find it really difficult to gain XP when my record is gaining 4 in a single day.

Talking this over with other people I've come to understand the CURRENTLY best type to start with is Military, Asumming you are not roleplaying, they have the most skills at 75exp. Science classes, while usful, really don't bring enough benefit, esspecially with only 4 skills.

So I wake up in my police station and some asshole has heavily barricaded it much to the consternation of every other player in the station, and, somehow, there's a zombie in there.

So I empty three clips at it and eventually manage to kill it with a fireaxe. I'm eyeing my 10 AP nervously because the police station no longer seems quite so safe, but being at 45XP is nice.

So now I'm two buildings over, holed up in a bank in Shuttlebank with six or seven other survivors. I desperately need some pistol ammo...

Shit, I'm like a flare magnet- six of them in a scatterplot near my Library. ~5.5 hours to go until the sprint for Stanbury is possible.
