That's nasty. Suddenly, I become much more interested in the Greivous/Obi-Wan fight. GIANT LIGHTSABER BLENDER!
Spare.
Well, that's depressing. You got me excited for a moment there.

Think that's bad? Obi-Wan blocks them all... :shock:

This apparently annoys Palpatine, since he wanted a strong apprentice that would lead the Empire after his death and continue the Sith legacy. (Or so I read somewhere...)
In the illustrated screenplay Sidious tells Yoda that Vader would become more powerfull than both of them. I always wondered if Sidious wanted that Anakin or a weaker one to control better. Just seems too unselfish of Sidious.

Well, he is a Sith, and at this point he knows nothing about acheiving immortality, so he wants a damn good apprentice to carry on the line. And the living personification of the Force is a pretty good choice, no?

George Lucas' cameo, apparently.

Wasn't it already leaked (the illustrated script)? Are there any differences between the two?

Somebody used an OCR (optical character recognition) to scan and convert a print out of the PDF into text, then posted it.

Yep you're right, no it's time for a rant that I didn't make the first time I read it;

JAR-JAR BINKS WWWWHHHHYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!

Why George, why?

Why the fuck have this fucking turd ass stain in THREE of the God damed movies? Why the fuck did you feel fucking obliged to fucking write him in?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

EDIT :: Oh yeah, another thing;

*Does the dance of joy*

Obi-Wan is the mack-daddy of SW, Obi-Wan is the mack daddy of SW! (Obi-Wan vs Grevious, I'm still un-spoiled on the Obi-Wan vs Vader duel) :D

Oh, shut the hell up. :P

I've only read parts of it myself, but I don't think Jar Jar really does anything.

So... It's true, JarJar WILL be in #3? So, HOW DOES HE DIE :kill:

He doesn't. It was confirmed months ago that Jar Jar isn't killed.

I don't really care. The bastard never bothered me that much at all.

One thing to keep in mind is that this of course still has everything, including scenes that have been cut or otherwise revised. It's just a copy, afterall.

I really hope that Scene 81, where the senators meet to discuss the state of the Republic hasn't been cut from the final version of the film. Lucas' oldest daughter, Amanda, actually has a line during it.

Kl-ADI-MUNDI: We have surveyed all systems in the Republic, and have found no sign of General Grievous.
That's is some logistical achievement there.

Hmm, it seems that Stover most definately embellished the dialogue for the novelisation. In the script, Anakin doesn't say a single word while eliminating the Seperatist leaders.
