Yeah, but if you do that, your entire civilian infrastructure will come to a crashing halt.

Hence the term "emergency".
And if the (highly automated and independant) systems should really need manual labour, just use some robots or bodies. They are only tools, and should be used as such. All infrastructure has been designed from the ground up to meet this goal.

fortunately, all these things are very very expensive, so it's safe to say that those of us who reproduce the old fashioned, cheap way will have you well-beat on numbers :)

I think 900 billion is quite enough. :)
Though how many have currently atl least one body occupied is of course restricted information :P

I think it's odd that you can have utterly vast hordes of uber ground troops, but a pitifully tiny navy...(oh well, look at China.)

I'm gonna enjoy introducing the Astartes to the full might of an Alliance marine.

Does an alliance marine come equipted with Odds ignoring machines? :)

EDIT:
Dahak wrote:Intriguing how suddenly has some business in a suddenly disputed area... :D
Yes, very intriguing as to who shoots first and who gets wiped out in the first salvo :P

No. My army has 10 Capital points devoted to it. His Astartes has 2 Cap and some Cruisers devoted. Answer: Astartes don't stand a chance.

Ah, that explains.

Well, I'll be sure to enjoy watching that army cross wide open space as everyone opens fire first to kill any stationary targets :)

Exotic Matter Reactors, monoweave neutronium armor, and 400-gigaton rated particle beam canno are much more expensive than a couple pounds of nemourlo combat armor and a flashgun. The Commonwealth troops are hardly uber, and definitely are more of a quantity over quality force.

Dahak, you do of course realize that you'll never get there in time, right? I plan on demanding that he get the hell out of my space. I'm not going to go in guns blazing unless forced to; we've both got too much firepower present for it to go easily to either side.

Yeah, but Astartes aren't meant for open field battles. They're special ops and guardians. :P

But I can mop up anything that remains afterwards :)
And it's not clear how quick and fast this will resolve. It could very well be a stalemate for some time. Unless you plan for a quick resolution :P

Dahak will arrive in about twice the time it would take me to send my Grand Fleet from the Commonwealth Proper- in other words, way too late.

As above. And besides, it's the gesture that counts :D

For reference, order of arrival would be Rogue's ships, ERTC reinforcements, Tycho's ships, Any ships I chose to send, then Dahak's.

Then tycho's post needs to be moved, its out of order.

In Nashtar space, on the Eastern Rim Trade Route, roughly. Pretty much on the opposite side of the galaxy from you.

IIRC, isn't this station relatively close to my territory? I'm probably wrong, though.
Edit: Ah, Nashtari space. Okay then, I'll have the fleet arrive later.
