Battle of the Heroes is OK. I can do without the choir, though. I think it's overused in the PT. It sounds like Cinque's theme from Amistad, but not as good.

I like the way Grievous' theme sounds like old 1930s gangster movie music. 8)

The three best themes are Anakin's Dream, which has real tearjerker stuff at the beginning, Anakin's Dark Deeds and Anakin's Betrayal.

Somthing might be wrong over at MF.com.

when I try to go to the site, it says i've been banned, even though I've never registered there.

It would be a damn shame if someone were to send any portion of the soundtrack to Darksi4190[AT]yahoo.com

An utter shame indeed.....

Sounds like blanket bans. I've yet to have a problem accessing the site or forums.

I don't have an account.

I've never had an account.

Unless their banning entire ISPs, i'm not sure how they can ban me.

Don't worry about getting to MF. Lucasfilm's lawyers told them to knock it off, so you're going to have to wait until the soundtrack pops up somewhere else, or find someone with a copy and webspace. (Don't look at me. Really.)

Meh.

That really doesn't come as a surprise......

How many times has lucasfilm gone after them now?

Was it two or three?

Quite a few times, that I know of.

Listening to the unabridged audiobook version of hte novelization...

Anyone else really hoping the 'Black Knight' scene with IG-102 is in there? :D

Check this out!

Gun scaling of weapons for the OSB. Don't know how many made it in the film- I recognized two (excluding the Jedi fighter which is mistakenly called a clone fighter).

Nice find! :D

Though it´s possible the Eta-2 can be used by other pilots, not just Jedi. (Refr. high number of them in a standard Venator-arsenal.)

I really, REALLY like "Battle of the Heroes." I think it's the best PT piece by far.

Padme's Ruminations is totally new for Star Wars. Never been anything like it. I like it.

Battle of the Heroes is pretty good, it reminds me of Baldur's Gate music for some reason.

Another favourite. That one is eerie, and I like it.

Possibly due to the choire. BG had a lot of choire music, especially in the 'battle' or 'drama' music IIRC.

I guess I can come in here now. My mom got me the ROTS novel fromt the library, and I thought I'll only read the first chapter. Then maybe the next, then I thought I better put it down before I read the whole thing, then I turn a page! The story played out pretty much as expected, although the clone involvement with the death of the Jedi was a bit unexpected. They turned faster than a merry go'round!

And especially BG II: Throne of Bhaal had that. :) (what an awesome game series!)

There seems to be some sort of general consensus that Williams' magical touch has made a return, and I agree. There wasn't anything memorable about the AOTC soundtrack, which recycled old themes way too much. Before this, I thought that his style had gotten repetitive and boring over the years. Now, I really look forwad to seeing/hearing how Williams' score is used in the movie. Thank you, John Williams, for not letting us down this time.

I'll be honest and say that I liked reading the script much more than reading the novelisation, which I really didn't like at all that much. But only because of Stover. His writing style and choice of expansions just didn't jive with me one bit.

Does the script mentions scenes of the fighting on the Wookie homeworld, i can't remember how it's spelled. The novel has Yoda lead the fight, but doesn't have mention of the actual fighting. The movie is going to have scenes, otherwise ther would not be any related toys.

On Kashyyyk? It would seem so, judging from all of the shots seen in both the teaser and theatrical trailers.

Yes, there are quite a few scenes on Kashyyyk, even with the one that has been cut.

I think Lucas said in a very recent interview it´s gonna be seven minutes (I guess total time with the battle and the escape, though I´m not sure if that´s what they meant).

Nice. Liked the shot of the Emperor standing over the fallen Yoda; brings back the air of menace that I felt as a kid both when he exited the shuttle in ROTJ and when Luke and Vader approached the throne.
