Duh. Ever consider that we don't want to see that rest of the Alliance adding to it?

Ok, i've been caught up with RL concerns for the past several months and have only been able to pay sporadic attention to the game.

Can some one tell me what the hell this "unification" is?

The Unification is the Monacoran web of alliances. It's roots are in the war against the Machines. You are a member, if I recall.

With his alliance to Asgard I believe he does qualify yes. At least he's on the map has a Unification member.

I am?

It's sad that I didn't know that.

Anyhow, it's possible that while dealing with other stuff, I simply forgot about it.

Anyhow, I am remainin neutral, but the KSE is (Secretly) anti-Hajr.
When they first returned, Reinhasshu (That's the emperor for those not paying attention) thought they were the Floaters returned, and even allied with them, and gave them a system on the edge of the KSE to colonize after the Jardanians pulled their bullshit, but as they became more brutal, and forcefully occupied more worlds, he became convinced that they were a threat to known space, and wanted to learn more (That's why he sent those intelligence agents to ascertain how effective a gruella resistance would be).

Hey Rogue9, how bout his Fleets have been in Edean for days now, and attacking your holdings in Ix'agal hae been part of the plan for a while now?

Your men, as you said, would take hours to pull out. Well, you compressed all those hours into one post, your bad. In that time, the mercs had time to arrive.

How about your plan didn't count on me pulling out? I'm not going to put up with the magic appearing fleet stunt again.

Want me to explain again?

YOUR FLEET TOOK MORE THAN AN HOUR TO PULL OUT, IN FACT SINCE YOU HAD TO LOAD TROOPS IT TOOK A COUPLE OF HOURS.

THE MERC FORCES WERE AN HOUR OR LESS AWAY IN THE EDEAN MARCH, IN THE CoG.

YOU HAVE A BATTLE ON YOUR HANDS.

With that force? It won't be a battle. We're talking about blockade destroyers here. I'd die inside of five minutes in a straight up fight with that. And if he forces the issue, all of my fleets will magically appear over his capital, BDZ it, and then magically appear back home. This is bullshit.

How so?
It took you some time to leave.
Enough for him to realise that, mobilize his forces and move them to a system a hop away...

Bullshit? Im afraid not, my friend. Look at p. 162, 3/4 of the way down. I moved that fleet into Edean an in-game month ago. A MONTH AGO. I have had a huge fleet on your doorstep for a while now, this is not magically materializing.

As per request of the Hajr, I attacked concurrently with the White Sun campaign. Before going, I PM'd you both to ask how many ships you had there so I would know what to expect. Your response was "oh, crap, I got fleets there. Run away!" You can say you were going to move them anyway, but I was going to move to attack anyway. You posted before I did only because I gave you the courtesy of a heads up. So in all fairness, the orders that I should attack and that you should leave were delivered at the same time.

My fleets had been expecting this order for days now, they were ready to go within minutes. My post reflects this. You were not expecting this, your post says that it took you "hours" to get everything packed up. Edean and Ix'agal are so close that I should be there in half an hour, just as you are beginning to leave. You have a fight, sir, and looking at the numbers, one I will win. Defend yourself.

Nope. Gone. Of course I was going to pull them out of there already. You think I was going to leave ships and troops sitting there when I've got bigger fish to fry?

Yes. Because his fleet magically appeared while I'm at my most vulnerable; loading troops. What a happy coincidence for Mr. Instant Travel here.

Newsflash!

Maybe the same stimulus which caused you to pull out caused him to attack? Fancy that, it DID!

.....This has to be some kind of sick joke. The Krell ships were an hour, at most, away. You yourself posted it would take hours to be away. That adds up to you being attacked.

You can now escape an attack because it would hit 'When you're most vunerable'? What is this shit?

Rogue, I suspect there's a modslap in your future. Maybe you should have prepared to pull out when the massive Merc fleet moved into position in the next system over, a month ago?

COME ON! Rogue, you got beat on this one. If you had posted before I even talked to you that would be one thing. I could have just posted that all my guys were right on top of you without warning, but you took advantage of my courtesy and tried to get out of this situation. What could possibly make you think this is accpetable? I PM you to ask what you have in Ix'agal. You run up a post about how you are running away, then reply "nothing, they are gone. See?" I want to work with you on this, but for the love of God give me a little freakin credit.

This shit is him being an absolute dumbass. My troops are gone. The alternative is the Alliance glassing the Krell homeworld. Don't try to plead mercenaries under Hajr control to me on that, either. I fully intend to treat this as an attack by the Krell upon the Alliance.

Fine. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. You want fairness? I get you before you are even beginning to pack. That is fair.

Yeah, well, that's your goddamn prerogative. Don't try to slime your way out of this.

Now I'm getting fucking well annoyed. You are being ridiculous.

Attacking you makes him a dumbass? And attacking Client states which are not involved is not going to go well for you diplomatically.

There are no words. Hold off on this. We'll wait for Pablo to get in on this. Im sick of sending everything to him, and I know he's sick of it, too, but if you won't capitualte when you're in the wrong, I guess this is what we'll have to do every time.

And treating this as an attack by the Krell, not the Hajr? Remember, this doesn't exist in a bubble. I got an OOB that says for 100 years the Krell has been viewed as the tools of its client, not as an independent actor. You would be flying in the face of 100 years of precedent, pissing a LOT of people off. Including me. You don't want to make this personal.
