Actually, Gork and Mork look and sound a lot more like a cross between a bear and the Megatherium from Walking With Beasts than they do the Brutes. There's still the bipedal element fron the Brutes, though.

They are housebroken, right? Poor sergeant Slate isn't going to have to run around cleaning up behind them, is he?

The funniest part of this is that Prius would be right there with Hethor in regarding this as another example of Jix's unreasonably lenient tendencies.

I'm off to bed, due to an insane desire to feel at least 50% human tomorrow. The usual puppeteering rules apply.

I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and read what Prius and co. think of Gork and Mork.

I know, that's one of the things that make it so fun.

Remember Pcm, nobody knows IC yet that Xerxes has gone bad, just that he's disappeared and that the arbites aren't being terribly talkative about the matter.

For all our characters know, he could be an unidentified charred corpse somewhere, or he could've been captured and is even now singing sweet songs of classified information to the archenemy as they fillet his internal organs...

How's that for a set up?

Edit- Then again, I think I'm a little too tired to do it justice as a solo writing. I can react well, but constructing the whole thing is a bit beyond me at this point. I'll just try to catch a nap this evening and get on early enough to pick this back up.

Pretty much. Until I can get ahold of an escape pod or something.

I get done with all my business for the day. I get home. I hit the sack. I get a good five hours of sleep where I don't wake up once. No sleep starts, nothing, just heavy solid REM, pleasant dreams, you name it.

Right up to the very end. As I'm waking up, I get this vision of a friend of mine, and this silky smooth bastard strolling around me speaking in a Dooku voice.

"You care about so and so. You wouldn't like anything to happent to so and so."

Then I wake up. Takes about a minute to process just why I had this bizarre minidream. BAH!

IO's been in my head. That's a rental zone, and the prices are fairly exorbitant.

Was there a Black Mage flitting around somewhere?

After this whole business is over, Pater and Prius need to chat. For character building and so forth. Also so I can spill the nifty Gork and Mork backstory I invented while not sleeping last night.

Well, I'm figuring that eventually they'll cooperate. It's not a sweep and clear- they did get the message from Gix.

But then again, they might be upset about the two smoking sets of armor at the door.
