Imperial policy dictates that sacred relics must be protected with the utmost care, Inquisitor Talstrem. The Most Holy 'Sisters of Battle Gone Wild' Pictoriam and Datekeeperum is now safely secured in a stasis chamber and guarded by a regiment of Catachans.

Unfortunately, it isn't guarded very well. You're supposed to be looking outward, guys! You're supposed to be holding your guns, not your... Guns.

Inquisitor, please tell me again of the days when the Guard was actually worth a shit.

Rifles PCM Rifles or the most Holy Senior Master Seargent Ermy will have you on the parade ground working off demerits...the only human to scare Space Marines.
That right there has got to be a trully scary thought....Gunnery Seargent Ermy in 40K

Ah, that hasn't been in a while, unless the guard in this case happen to be the Tanith First (and only, dare I add), who, by my conservative estimates, should only have about 5 guys left by now.

Six. They recruit a guy in
Traitor General.
If IO doesn't show up in the next fifteen minutes, I'm going to start pestering you about providing me some Arbites for Prius to run rampant over Fair warning.

See? The arbites need a good, thorough ass-kicking!
They've clearly forgotten their place in the grand scheme of things.

When they wore white hats, and were composed soly of the "Scum of the Galaxy", and allowed their own gear, if they wanted to bring it...
you never seen a bunch of space pirates on a penal brigade allowed to kit themselves on a scicide mission?
or am the first one to consider the Xeno-Legion option?

Hell Guard could be equiped with POWER ARMOR and BOL:TERS in 1st edition

Shiny white hats would definitely go a ways toward making a mission a suicide mission.

By the way the worse thing you can do isnt killing one of these idiots.....assign them to a penal unit......

Exactly
and I can come up with a fluffy reason why too...
Someone found out about the French Foriegn legion, and optioned to make a force out of the worst scum they could find, you know
The Xeno-legion
damn half of them are aliens, mostly worldless Eldar, half of them are Pirates, and half of them are just petty scumbags
erm sir you can't have three halves.
Commisar: no, but you can have signifigant overlap

yes, it is, and it's still part of the foreign legion uniform.
also I play the Foriegn Legion in Battletech, and TOG...

Does Prius need any further Inquisitorial intervention, or would he prefer to handle this on his own?

Let's see how this develops.
There's also the budding scene with Nathan and his own Arbites problem that you could delve into.
