" Hm... not a whole lot of useful info... Other than Lord Fearus... I will note that name..."

"Two.....grusnack.....form...mynugs......yo...attaq.....big...rancher.....un.....frenz.......lo...lo....lord ferus...no....speak....way.....rise...honor...if..yo...wind....loose.....rewart...if....flail..."
Slightly angered at his translation and thrusts the note back.

The sack does indeed contain a fair amount of wealth. There is also a rough map directing you to the supposed location of where this Torg is being held.
[Sorry I haven't been on, I had some unexpected company today]

"So we're leaving for Wales, but we're all the way up here in Scotland." I walk over and right an upturned table, picking up some paper that got scattered on the floor as well as an inkwell. Then I proceed to sketch out a very rough map of the region on one piece of paper, and lower my voice to discourage eavesdroppers. "I think we should follow the river Ness to the southwestern coast, then cross over and travel along the coastal roads, or alternatively take a ship to Wales."

Well, you're down there, outside the cabin.

The first sounds like a good plan. It would allow me to avoid having to pass as human in human settlements

About how much, and in what forms? (just give me an order-of-magnitude estimate - I'm going to take a quick glance in the bag and stuff it in my backpack to avoid attracting undue attention from backalley toughs and similar less than savory types).

[This is in your hands now - Duncan will not be going with you. Players in this group not on at the time of any major decisions are assumed to follow with the party and in the case of combat are off scouting/hunting/whatever.]

"Maybe." I walk over to the window and take a look outside, still feeling rather suspicious.

GOBLINS! The green skin scum must DIE. I need no reward, I shall cleanse the retched infestation from the face of this Earth.
Grozny promptly bursts through the door of the old mans house and hurries off to the east, looking for Sir Edward

I buy a week's worth of provisions and start heading north to find and free this "Torg" character.

[Result of spot check (taken from PM)]
"You have spotted a reptilian humanoid spying on your group through a window..."
I edge away from the window, draw my sword when I'm out of his sight, and slip out the back door of Duncan's house. Then I quietly walk around the house to see if I can capture the humanoid and discover what he was doing spying on us...
