There seems to be a little less dirt and dust on the right hand path.

"The right hand path has been used more recently. less dust... "

"Alright...We'll investigate that one first then...Vasquez" He lifted the radio resting on his shoulder to speak through "You bring up the rear on this. I want to make damn sure if we have to pull out, we aren't pinned." He let the radio transmitter go and looked back to Leah and Allen

"You two, follow me...and let us hope whatever awaits isn't in a mood for a fight"

Connar shifted slightly from his crouched position and edged forward up to the junction, lifting the mp5 to brace against his shoulder and lean out slightly, trying to put as little as his face out and as much of the weapon as possible to check around both corners carefully in turn.

As you walk down the corridor, you notice nothing out of the ordinary after a short distance you reach a doorway leading off the corridor, beyond it appears to be a large chamber of some kind, with carvings upon the walls and a stone seat at the far end in the centre.....

I search for anything that could be dangerous.

As you look around you notice one of the stone slabs upon the floor is aligned a little differently from the others.

I investigate the seat.

The seat seems to be made of a single block of stone, carved out with intricate patterns upon the stone arms and down the sides.

"Vasquez, Up here!"

Connar took a position in the chamber and just around the corner from the entrance to it to guard and make sure nothing disturbed them while they scanned the area.

"What is it?"

"I wonder............"

I sit in the chair.

"This stone here seems to be aligned a bit oddly. I suggest we avoid it if possible"

With that, Dr. Allen moves well around it, and begins reading inscriptions

"First rule of sci-fi, stay out of chairs in mysterous ruins until you know what they do"!"

"I think I know what this one does."

"Well it is your fault if you die, not mine"

He goes back to reading

Anything useful?

The stone of the seat feels cold to the touch, sapping the warmth from you as you touch it. Nothing happens as you sit down.

"Leah...just be more damned careful, alright?"

He checked the Mp5 was loaded and scanned the room.

Look around the room an at the cealing. Can I see anything now that I coudln't see before?

I inspect the chair for buttons or switches, or even some writing I can read. Anything.

As you read the inscriptions on the wall, it seems to tell a tale of the founding of the city above. The story starts with the lord of the city being sent here, through stargate....

As Leah examines the chair, one of the designs seems slightly more recessed than the others, a circle with two waving lines across it.
