The Prince was eating a Lamb Vindallo in his office waiting for Fedayn's raid to begin, and trying to melt of stress gained in the week when a Kelmen Army Spec O;ps Colonel came in, carrying a report.
"Immeadiete read sir, priorty gold."
After skimming the report the prince was shocked,
"Santiago did this for sure? Did he contact you or Fedayn?"
"No sir."
"OH shit, cover it up, and see if you can get Santiago here on the next inbound freighter."

OOC: My ships have been refited with laser weapons in addition to the Particle beams(this has taken place over the last few RL weeks)...they share a turret, and cant be fired simultaneously, but IIRC, it has been mentioned somewhere.....

-general freecast-

We of the Mohaimese Republic respectfully ask all parties engaged in the Alpha Centauri system to stand down. We are certain there has been some sort of mistake. It appears that the Asgard have forgotten the Floater policy towards foreigners on the Womb- they are allowable only when authorized and accompanied by Floaters. The Womb was, after all, the center of our civilization, and the place from which Mother Earth's children have begun their seeding of the galaxy.

It is not a place for war.

It is apparent that the North American Union is not upholding their deal with us to provide mutual defense in the Alpha Centauri system, therefore, we are deploying a task force of some of our few modern vessels to oversee the Womb until such a time as either we, or another power we trust, is able to put the Womb to a proper use.

Three "Republic" Class Dreadnoughts, three Attack Carriers, and twelve "Shadowrun" class strike cruisers are being deployed to the facility, via the Kharam jumpgate.

Two men dressed like construction workers dragged the street barricades out into the street, blocking off the one-way lane along which, coincidentilly, a police station was located. The police barely had time to get out to see why the traffic had stopped then when an EMP blast hit the small section of the city, knocking out all the surveillence recorders there, then a small doorway opened up in mid-air, about five feet above the street, and thirty Monacoran Spec Ops troopers, carrying police badges on their shoulders, unloaded of and stormed into the station. Unlike their normal missions here they were carrying special ammo in a modified rifle, one of the two barells fired a bullet that would knock out the target for five minutes, and cause amnesia for the immeadiete time period leading up to the hit, the other merely knocked the target unconcious for two hours. The troopers were being very conservative in their shooting, and even when a man fell from three bullets in the shoulder they did not return fire until they could identify wether the shooter was a man they had been ordered to take, and then they shot him with a temorary amnesia inducing round. When the raid was finally over, two and a half minutes later, all the occupants, except six, were hit with the amneisia inducing rounds. The other six were the targets they had come here for, and they carried them out on stretchers with three other wounded Monacorans. Two Minutes later they were being escorted over the channel for return to Monaco, along with another transport that had performed a similar raid in another part of the country. Ten minutes later two small boats each carrying five men were heading out along the channel at top speeds to return back to Monacora with VTOL escort, four of the five men aboard were dressed as construction workers from their small time before.

General Broadcast

The Government of Monacora wishes to announce that due to Asgard unwillingness to follow international laws Monacoran Police were required to apprehend the suspects in a murder of a Monacoran citizen. Any other inconvenience is apologized for by the prince.

The DE finds the current situatio between the Monocoran and Asgard governments rather ironic. Both parties will undertand why.

RE: Asgard opportunism.

The Asgard have taken control of the Floater shipyards illegally. It was the Floater's wish that those shipyards be used to contruct ITA vessels, and we highly doubt the Asgard will make good on that wish. It is our intention to regain control of the Floater shipyards and hand them over to ITA control. Will you stand with us?
Our assests are currently being tied up right now by the reclaiming of the Monitors. Could we not avoid all this mess by simply declaring that the Asgrad reclaimed it in the name of the ITASF as the naval ministers? That would enforce them to use it for only ITA purposes or to suffer grave politicol damage?

A wise move. Since they are the acting naval ministers, they are entitled to use it.

Never the less, we will maintain our vessels in the area to watch over our monument. The Womb has tremendous religeous significance to our people.

General freecast to all news agencies, across all comm channels.

The Asgard earlier this week took control of the Abandoned Floater Shipyards in the Alpha Centauri system in the name of the ITASF. As the Naval Ministers of the ITASF the Asgard will be using these ship yards for the constuction of ITASF vessels.

RE: Annexing of Floater shipyards

We are outraged that you have taken over the Floater shipyards. The floaters wished that those ships be used to construct ships for the ITA, and we intend to enforce their wishes. We have a fleet in hyperspace, ready to regain control of those shipyards and request that you back down, and allow the ITA to have those shipyards.

We cannot allow floater shipyards to fall into your hands.
OOC: I'm responding to this, because I know what his response will be, and he won't be on for a while longer...

The shipyards had been abandoned, and were not occupied by an nation. International salvage laws support our control of these shipyards. Attempting to forcefully remove the shipyards will have to be an act of war.

Not, I am afraid when the Party that abandoned the site stated who it should default to.

Though it matters little. We are sure the Asgard claimed it in the name of the ITASF as per the Floaters request, and will be using the shipyards for the purposes of building the ITASF fleets. Or at least those are the intentions we broadcast to the rest of known space. Have a nice day.

And frankly, finding out about such a meeting would be very hard, considering it was an encoded note delivered by courier ship.

Not all intelligence, regardless of source, is accurate. It is as often the product of counterintelligence as it is actual useful data.

The place remains secret because it would be pointless to find it, it's mroe then a week of FTL travel away from earth, it's surrounded by a shell of sensors, and re-emitters designed to detect what its in the neighberhood, and to make sure they can't see Far-Point in the Neighberhood, and inside its got almost all of the Monacoran Navy, including some of the best equipped battle-stations. So how would your missles have been targeted there? Now if you are talking about my Mardup colonies it's a completley different thing because we only care about knowing who is in the system, and even then we don't care much.
