I'm sure a suite of carapace can be scavenged from all those dead stormtroopers.

By the way, that same friend dumped a load of art on me this evening, and if you lighten the hair a bit and add the scar on her face, this is a pretty good depiction of Synnove.

Enjoy

It's hard to find good pics for female characters, because most male fantasy artists are a bit... deprived... and tend to draw gravity-defying cheesecake.

Ah, another reason to take up art classes. *Draws stick-figures*

I don't believe you've given us much background data on the Wager crew, come to think of it. Here I am inventing whole star systems... *Grumbles* :P

Hmmph Prius was a lot kinder to the Arbites than Nathan would be.....

Hey, I invented a forge world. Where are the tales of the loves and lives of Gork and Mork, huh?

Shall we compare volume of Memoria posts? Hmm?

Given his druthers he would've executed the whole batch and brought in fresh arbites, but he understands that they need to maintain the combat viability of the current batch. So he only killed off roughly twelve percent of their on-station strength and hit the rest with his blinding rhetoric.

*chuckle* outfit that 12% with explosiver collars and send them to Armageddon or Cadia as a penal unit.So the men could remove the blot of sin through service to the Emperor.

Loves and lives of Gork and Mork?

Yeah, their diaries are fucking riots.

The twelve percent are writeoffs, and only amount to about thirty-odd guys anyway. The point is to drive home the impression with the rest, which was the reasoning behind the decimation. It's supposed to be swift, brutal and overwhelming, a sharp kick to their organizational structure. Furthermore, it's supposed to leave a lingering impression. Part of the standing orders he's going to leave behind are that the skulls will be displayed, with a list of their failings, as well as the bloodstain on the desk where the head judge killed himself. Reminders that the inquisition reigns over the arbites in dispensing the law, and that next time they won't be so... gentle.

Nathan. Explosive collars? Really. Come on. How can you possibly put them in exlposive collars without giving them frenzon dispensors?

Sergeant Slate, perhaps?

Which reminds me, I might have a picture of him. Lemme dig around.

My impression of sergeant Slate.

You want some of this?

They are doing the Emperor some good. They are dying by the hands of their comrades in arms, so as to inspire the rest. It's all about psychological impact.

No bloody clue, sorry. This is a collection of random images he grabbed off a newsgroup. Roughly a quarter of it was pictures of stupid Klingon knives.

Oh, and here's an archaeotech weapon that Inquisitor Lord Vonwhatizname will give Prius when he gets back down to the planet.

It is a tool of discipline, not as clumsy or random as a chainsword, an elegant weapon...
