Haha, what the fuck was going on with the 00 Raiser this episode. I could just about deal with Magical Quantum Telepathy, since it had already been mentioned that the Innovators communicate with GN particles, but GN teleportation? It seems S2 isn't a take on Zeta after all, but actually Turn Aand all the weirdness involved. Incidentally, the sub I was watching used quantisation to refer to 00 teleporting; that can't be an accurate translation, can it?

Also I was somewhat dissapointed they didn't link 00 to the Ptolemy when they were powering it up; I was hoping it'd send them to pluto and we'd get Super Dimension Fortress Gundam.

Trench run on Momento Mori! I have to say, the Ptolemy using Trans-Am is starting to get ridiculous. Also we get to see the less than stunning debut of the shield bits. Oh and there's another fucking Gadessa being used by Healing Care. This episode gets my seal of approval for lacking any significant Saji screentime. Seriously, I hate that fucker. They don't even need him in the 00 Raiser.

Kataron's absolutely dismal showing against the A-Laws really drove home how hopelessly outmatched they are; I don't think they managed to shoot down even a single enemy suit. Also: Hilling Care is totally nutso.

Did you hear how incredibly bored Al sounded when he activated Ariois' Trans-Am? I don't think he was too pleased about having to sit out He had, what, two lines in the whole episode? Trans-Am and Lockon!. Poor dude.

The shield bits were pretty cool, I though. I wonder if they can be used normally, or only in Trans-Am. It looked like some of them were armed as well, or was that just the Ptolemy's turrets? Either way, can't wait to see them against Ali's GN fangs.

I hope Nena gets a real suit soon though; that shuttle thing she's puttering around in at the moment is lame. I don't remember the Drei being too badly damaged when Ali killed the other Trinities in S1, I wonder what's happened to it. This is actually pretty much the first time she's done anything this season other than stand around talking or get punched by Ali, I hope she has more a role later.

One of them even got a bit teary when they replayed Lockon's death scene. In all, not really worth skipping a week. Except for a hint of information.

I'm sure the shuttle will unfold into a Mobile Armour at some point. A GN Drive equipped shuttle seems a bit extreme.

What's the deal with Prince Ali this episode? He got absolutely schooled. Sure, Arche is probably not on the same level as 00 Raiser, but still, it's not junk given it dominated Seravee + 00, and Setsuna was injured...plot necessity? Or Setsuna's just been improving THAT much?

I really dig Mr. Bushido's new MS. I'm also betting that it's got Billy's version of Trans-Am. I'm also guessing that once it's Trans-Am runs out, the MS shuts down completely as opposed to the depowered Gundams with a real GN-Drive...that's the only way to live up to the MS's name.

Though I question it's actual use in a combat situation. It seems an awfully contrived way of defeating opponents, and would only really work one-on-one. I guess one of them is automated while the other is manually piloted, like a huge bit or funnel. A Gundam X-style drone, sort of thing.

The other, somewhat fanwanky explanation, is that since the novelisation of 00 says that Tiera would control Nadleeh via a neural interface, maybe he could manually pilot one and mind-move the other. Though that would kinda depend on whether the cockpit is physically in Seraphim or Seravee, and is a pretty awful idea anyway.

As a cool little side-note, as the Seraphim seperates you can see the GN drive sticking out of it's back. Also, apparently the booklet for the 1/144 model kit of Seravee says that it's got another gimmick that depends on having a connection to Veda. TRIAL Mk.2? If you want to read too much into the dialogue, Tiera explicitly points out that Seraphim is different from Nadleeh, so maybe there's still a Nadleeh hidden inside Hambeast Gundam. Probably not, though. Still, the fact that it requires a connection to Veda is interesting, as it implies that either CB will retake Veda or Anew will get in the cockpit or Seravee for some reason.

Did anyone else notice that new MA has a slash harken? . Also, it seems the wing-things of the 00 Raiser contain giant GN-cannons in them, I don't recall them being used before. Kinda bummed we still haven't seen the GN Archer yet, even though Arios was sent out into combat in this episode with it attached. Bah!

SUPAH BUSHIDO! I suppose this was a given, seeing as how Dr. Eifman's convenient research could have only pointed to this particular development. Also this episode is a total cocktease with regards to Soma and the GN Archer. I want to see my cute GM girl.

Man, the new ending is weird. I mean, the shots of the ruined Gundams are awfully pretty, but then you've got what seems to be some bits about the romantic pairings on the show? Al and Somarie's clothes floating in the water, yeah, Tiera and the first Lockon's jackets tied together flapping the wind, okay I guess. Then the second Lockon's jacket with Anew's? Only the barest possible hints of that so fair, but whatever, it could still happen.

Then what seems to be Tiera's glasses and Setsuna's jacket? Well, I guess they could be Billy's glasses but that would make even less sense. This is just bait to drive all the shippers crazy.

Trans-Graham looks awesome, but I wonder what'll happen when it runs out. Since Tau drives aren't magical perpetual motion machines, I guess it'll probably shut down. Cool that Setsuna noticed it's similarities to the Flag though.

Also, Arios dual-weilding GN guns = win.

The optimistic take is that CB will create a world where the Gundams aren't needed, probably after an epic battle, and everything can just ditch the Gundams and uniforms and proceed with their lives. Of course, you can also say that CB will be screwed over and everyone gets on with life too, but taking storyline hints from the ED too seriously is hard. Lockon doesn't become a hairstylist after all, though someone had to have been giving CB members haircuts.

I'm pretty sure that Saji and Louise there, given it's in the same sort of mountains where 0 Raiser was planted nose first. Personally, I like the continuity with the last ED - like the huge swarm of Ahead's flying over Al and Marie, Lockon and his sheet girl (which is Anew - Spy vs. Spy!), Tieria and the mirror and so on. It's the first time I've seen such a thing.

This episode is 90% Gundam free and has more flashbacks than ever. I'm starting to feel like this show has too many plots and factions going together. Even the first season with its four or five factions didn't feel this crowded. This season has A-LAWS, INNOVATOR!, CB, Earth Federation, Wang Liu Ming, Kataron, and MISTA BUSHIDO all doing their own thing. I think part of the problem is that in trying to have the A-LAWS be like the Titans they forgot that the Titans were kind of weak villains. Let's be honest, it's Jerrid and his buddies that make the Titans fun until muthafucking Scirocco shows up. Ribbonz shoud be their Scirocco, but they feel compelled to keep him out of the show.

I'm still optimistic. In S1 the Thrones had just appeared by episode 16 and the best was yet to come.

That said, some trends are worrying. There really quite a few plot threads, I don't think they all will be resolved well. Also, I didn't stay up to watch the feed from Japan thanks to jetlag but... Spoiler

MM2? Are they just out of ideas? If they get Ewoks on the moon I'm out of here....
