It'd take a lot more time and effort to remove us from providence then -A- is really likely to want to invest. Eitherway, things will at least be interesting for a while.

Part of me thinks the Goons did this shit on purpose out of boredom. If anything it'll at least break up the monotony, and maybe we'll end up with great war three or someshit.

In general, the rank and file goons were incredibly bored just sitting on Delve. I would classify the reactions to this whole thing into three categories:

1) Apoplectic rage toward the directorate, from the professional internet spaceship pilots.
2) "Despite losing every asset I own to this its the funniest fucking thing to ever happen in this game." -Normal people.
3) -Anyone banned or rejected from GF.

For want of a brain, a kingdom was lost.

It also appears if my reading of Scrapheap challenge is correct that CVA is probably unless -A- has mercy will kill of CVA for good, their effort to expand Divine decree of the Emperor has failed.

Dude, I'm still trying to figure out the thought process that went into "Hey, let's invade -A-" becoming an actual plan. I imagine it involved a lot of booze though. On the bright side, I've got a running list of just about every cap and supercap pilot -A-, AAA Citizens, Sys-K, and U'K.

On one hand, yeah, the thought processes behind the CVA invasion are....arcane if I'm feeling very generous. On the other hand, it's hilarious to hear Scrapheap say that given that they took a ~40-man roam through Provi, and killed a Caracal before being annihilated.

It's more of a delayed reaction than an actual thinking process. At least we've finaly managed to get the role players to shut the fuck up long enough to start trying to plan something more involved then some RP bullshit about "God will protect us!". It's hilarious how these guys think sometimes. They started things off by saying we needed more elbow room, and now "god is on our side". I don't think it ever occurred to them that talking about lebensraum and muttering "gott mit uns" when you're fighting a bunch of Russians kind of jinxes the entire operation from the start.

I bet they were thinking one swift kick would cause AAA to come crumbling down.

You've earlier complained about NRDS and now you've indicated you're not a roleplayer. The defining characteristics of CVA are that they are an NRDS RP alliance...

It's not the alliance, man. There's some seriously cool people in my current corp that's about the only thing keeping me around. Besides, it's really interesting seeing what these people do under stress.

Unfortunately Havok appears to be correct, reading through COAD and ScrapHeap Challenge most discussions do boil down to that.

Goonswarm has apparently disbanded, they kicked everything but the holding corps including Goonfleet. A sad sad day.

I blame Al Qaeda since kartoon seems to be responsible and he was just way too fond of that terrorist gimmick.
