Time consistancy has always been a bane in the STGODs. For one thing it never flows as the same pace. It slows down as more things happen and it speeds up as activity drops. What's more is that it's never passes consistantly between active groups. One group will experience an event that takes minutes in the same amount of time another is taking hours or even days.

There's no real way around this without instituting a time management rule system which would unfortunately make the game a lot less fun. The best thing to do is to try and avoid the inconsistancies where possible and where it isn't possible just do your best to absorb them into the chain of events.

The war started the second Thirdfain invaded White Sun space. And seeing as how I am his client, I had orders to launch my attacks pretty much immediately. So, yeah, it wasn't long. My attack here is part of the first wave.

Unrelated question: What is the final action in Elysium? Did the UPA show up, look around, then turn and go home without firing a shot? Did you blow up a few clusters? Whats the deal?

Wait, Rogue 9 has pilots spending 6 hours in the cockpit before they reach their target? They ain't going to be anywhere close to effective. They'll be tired and sore, cramped, and probably need to go pee really badly...

Then why should a response by the Unification to hit back be considered odd? The escalation started and spiraled upwards. Surely you know enough about politics to realize how irrelevent things become once the recursive loop starts.
