But anyway it has Fett looking out of a window on Executor & seeing the Falcon on the back of the Avenger with his own eyes...

Can anyone corrobirate whis or am I hallucentating again?
Wha? THAT certainly doesn't make any sense! Why would Fett be the only one on such a massive ship to spot the Falcon, if it's close enough to be seen with the naked eye?
What most likely happened was that after Vader breifing the bounty hunters on the Executor, Fett overheard the report that the Avenger had spotted the Falcon. Fett immediately leaves the Executor to go investigate the Avenger. He then spots the Falcon on the back of the bridge tower and the rest is history.

It might also be a possibility that Fett has deducted that if the hyperdrive on the Falcon worked, it would have jumped by now. So when he overhears that the Avenger has found them again and then losses them he deduces that Han used an old smuggleing trick. He launches from the Executor and moves towards the Avenger and powers down and waits...

Exactly that was written in the book!

Did we solve the whole "no ship that small has a cloaking device!" (in regard to the Falcon) problem?

Because isn't the Slave I no bigger than the Falcon in size anyway?

Sorry if this has been answered before...

Cloaking devices block all active and passive sensors including all EM and visual.

Stealth systems simply rely on silent running tactics and they jam as much EM and sensors as they can.

Slave 1 had a stealth system, not a cloaking device.

Interesting. Well I guess we've never seen a cloaking device in Star Wars (in the canon films anyway) so maybe. ; )

No way to track cloaked ships (other than maybe using Force sensitives)? Ouch... must be powerful!

Then again, maybe the Slave I didn't need to jam anything, maybe the interferance from that huge ISD would have masked its presence effectively enough from the Falcon?

For example.. the Falcon wouldn't have wanted to use active scans, for fear of giving themselves away, so they wouldn't have thought to look for the Slave I. Maybe?

Likely. There was always a chance a scout or a ship other then the Avenger would glance through their sensor logs and see the Falcon on the Avenger and race back. Solo was probably cutting his emissions and trying to make himself as undetectable as it was. He was probably trying to do that BECAUSE he was worried about Bounty Hunters. Unfortunately for him, Fett already had a bead on him.

Maybe Fett didn't tell the Imperials about the Falcon being on its back because he wanted everyone on the Falcon to think that the Imperials were gone for good and that they were safe so they would let their guard down.

Yes, I meant the same but my english is way too far from "perfect"...
