Yeah, you haver your ordinary retards and your delusional retards. Most creationists are proud members of the latter group.

from that site:
"The word "dinosaur" is a Latin word meaning "terrible lizard". It was coined in 1841 by an Englishman named Richard Owen. The corresponding word used in Greek is "dragon" meaning "reptilian like being".

Dinosaur is derived from Greek, not Latin. This, I find humorous.

*shrug* Another day, another fundie.

At first, I found them amusing. Demolishing them was gleeful, like jousting without the iron underwear or possibility of getting a long shaft of wood stuck through your head or having the deal with horses and women with crooked teeth.

Now, it's like running a treadmill. Same arguments, same idiocy. Their methods of indoctrination are so widespread and effective that they can crank out four fundies for every one of us, and most fundies who drop out of the delusion only become 'moderate Christians' or agnostics, refusing to deny their childhood learnings and too wise to vocally support them.

I think that's the fundie's greatest hope; that learned men like Mike and myself and Stormbringer and Phil and all the rest will get tired, eventually, of fighting against the Wall of Ignorance. That when that pesky logical opposition stops coming, they've won. Twits, every last one of them, and I know this, but I also know that I can't tear down every idiot that comes up to me with a fool's errand.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

And doesn't "Dragon" come from latin "draconis", which again comes from greek "draco"???
"Hi there, would you like to have a cookie?"

"No, actually I would HATE to have a cookie, you vapid waste of inedible flesh!"
