Resplendent in naked masculinity, that's all I can say.

Even Xerxes is naked in his jewel encrusted battle shorts!

I just think its obscene. I think a naked man killing other living organisms is, like, some obscene blasphemous metaphor for sex and violence interlocked in an orgasmic embrace, like a dance number with Mozart and Beethoven trying to kill each other with switchblades!

Regarding freedom in Sparta: Actually... no. Women were more free in Sparta than Athens (democracy and all...). Sparta was, AFAIK, an oligarchy of sorts, a bit like a non-democratic Roman Republic, with all the male citizens as full-time soldiers. This is not to say that non-citizens had it good.

I'm not gonna whine about the 4 million number... exaggeration is needed for a movie like this (300 vs. 4mil: IN YOUR FACE!!! HA!).

The ending credits of this movie needs to have Leonidas punching a T-rex.

Good point. Shroom, just come to terms with your bisexuality already.

Well, the whole confusing thing really is that guys don't turn me on. It's the whole half-naked manly men murdering and committing acts of violence against other living human beings that entertains me on some carnal level. Does that qualify as some sort of fetish? :?

Good point.

Shroom, your GALE Force Inductance Paper Form G4Y-420 and Sodomy Waiver Form BU77-PIR8 are en route to your position via express armed courier. You'll recognize him; he's the gladiator with the railgun and portable fusion reactor in his backpack Oh, he's also in one of my space fighters. Don't ask where the names of the forms came from; one of our ranking bureaucrats took business lessons from Loki...

Man, a thread about an obscene movie trailer got transmogrified into a thread questioning my sexuality.

Awesome
