The reason I believe Anakin would have been more stable under Qui-Gon's teaching is because Qui-Gon would have taught him to listen to the living force (as they called it in TPM) and wouldn't have been conflicted by the "do whats right/do what the jedi say is right", he'd have done what the force felt was right.

Quite probably would have picked up on Anakins dreams about his mother being omens rather than just dreams earlier on, due to his pragmatism and trust in the force. Possibly saving Anakins mother and stopping him on the road to the dark side earlier on. He may still have been head strong and whiney, but he wouldn't have been quite such a messed up kid.

I can also see his advice being a bit more practical than "learn to let go of your attachments". Which frankly is bullshit.

AFAIK, Palpatine only mentions the Chancellor's "ambassadors" when he speaks to the Queen and her Council, he gives no indication that they are Jedi. This doesn't mean he is unaware that the ambassadors are Jedi, but his conversation with Amidala doesn't prove he does.

Another item to consider is that Qui Gon was the first Jedi to commune from the Afterlife. Even Yoda was amazed that he did this. So he possessed a unique connection with the force.

To me Qui Gon was more open to change while Yoda and Mace were ultimate examples or preparing to fight the last war all over again.

Agreed on this point. Qui Gon was more a Gray Jedi than a straight up Jedi. He was the poster boy of what the Force wanted a Jedi to be, while his pupil, Obi Wan, was the poster boy of what the Jedi wanted the Jedi to be.

Qui-Gon was hardly the first Jedi to ghostify. Quite a few Jedi managed to pull it off over the years, including Pernicar and Ulic Qel-Droma.

Not necessarily. After all, Qui-gon managed to manifest the ability without any prior training; it is possible that other Jedi could have accomplished the feat before him, and simply never passed on the secret as he did.

i havent watched TPM in a while but correct me if im wrong, and if the cut off conversation that your talking about is "I have assurances from teh Chancellor, his ambassadors did arrive".
this conversation happens after Sidious was talking with Nute Gunray about the abassadors being Jedi.
