The
Colony Wars games were great, the first two especially because of the mpressive branching mission structure. Though Valdemar's struggle was a whole lot more 'important' compared to the civil war focus of the first two.

If Psygnosis comes back from the dead and develops an engine for the Neo-BSG game, they damn well better make it easier than CW: Vengance.
That was the hardest fucking game i've ever played.
Although comparatively, Red Sun was extremely easy.

I played Vengeance, and while it was okay for a console space sim, it still didn't hold a candle to games released on the PC years before. Of course, that's pretty much the case for every console game in a genre that got its start on the PC, and many that didn't.
Still, the cable thing was a neat idea, and the game became a lot more fun when I played it on an emulator with a proper joystick. Space sims simply cannot be played with those little thumb-nubs.

Most important of all from Psygnosis would be Lander 2. Lander (the 1999 version) was a gameplay marvel.

Oh man,
Lander. Fucking
Lander was awesome. It's a pity I didn't get to play it that much.

The cable was my god. Because I was pretty young when I played
Vengeance I wasn't very good at keeping my guns on targets. But the cable made life so much easier.
Haha got you, League bastards!
