Yes...
The big guns are for long-range attacks...
The launcher and the blasters are agains footsoldiers and light vehicles.

The hatch is now on the left side...
And there are now two sensors...
No more view-hatches...
Not bad at all...

On the other hand I have to agree with Bean.

Graphics are excellent, the idea a little bit flawed.

Please don't take it as an offence, I'm a designer as well and usually I listen to critics.

1. Now the only way to adjust the double blaster on the top is by moving the whole cabin a little forward and deeper. That way the walker may fall on his "nose". The proper adjust of the legs takes too much time and precision to aim perfectly. A retractable third leg would solve this but this mainly depends on the charateristic of the weapon. If this heavy blaster or cannon similar to the one on AT-ATs then you have to count with the recoil effect as well.

2. Can't imagine where you placed the power generators for this big blaster? In the extended cockpit? That space is not enough for placing a power generator and a proper cooling unit. Or, with a compact generator a samller cooler the fire rate will be radically reduced and the power of the blasts as well. (The original AT-ST is powered by cells not a reactor so it's energy are not enough to provide more energy for the huge blasters.)

3. I don't really see the necessity of these vehicle. Where AT-ATs capable to walk these are not needed.
In a forest it's really hard to use the long ranged weaponry.
In swamps and in other hard terrain it will have problems as well like the AT-ATs. On the other hand the imperial army already have hovercrafted, mobile artillery units which are capable of moving faster and without problems in hard terrain.

 Given the amount of work that goes into creating a mesh with that kind of detail, Crix Dorius would very likely prefer it if your criticism remained constructive. More to the point, I'd prefer it if your criticism was constructive.

Wow. I've fooled around in 3dsm 4 for an hour and a half and I can't even make a nice looking BOX.

What did you do this in, BTW?

Stick at it. Learning to use these tools takes serious time and effort but if it's what you want to do, it's worth it. There are a lot of 3DSMax tutorials floating around the net; these are invaluable when just starting out because the interface is too screwed up to figure out without the benefit of some outside knowledge.

Is it me, or is there an extra joint in the legs also?

And BTW, it is a mecha brainbug, but no more than the AT-ST, AT-AT, or any other sci-fi mech where the creators actually care about science.

IMO, it should be a completely new design that bears little or no resemblence to an AT-ST if you want to create a realistic bipedal heavy artillery unit. I think you should start from scratch, to be perfectly honest.

I love it.

Nitpicks (not too important, but stuff about what I would do if I were you):

1.) Still looks like it'd have stability problems. I think it'd look better too, to have the design be more "squated" with the legs further apart.

2.) The armor still looks like baseline AT-ST armor. I'd elongate the body, and make it bulkier/thicker.

3.) The third leg is going to be awesome.

Eh, I'd say it'd have a purpose. A specialty design though. Could be used for clearing out intrenched foxholes/bunkers in dense voliage or bad terrian that fuck up smaller/short-ranged vehicles and infantry that try and get through.

Thank you Enlightenment. Besides mechas are kewl looking!

But retarded.

Besides, not only does Boba Fett and I's recommendations (emphasis for Ted's sake) make it more practical, they also give room for more change and unique customization, making it a more trademark and original design for Crix and his crew.

Props to the AT-AT inspired viewports too, Crix. They look menacing and awesome.

Now how do you say "YOUR LARDY ASS IS GRASS AND I'M THE BIG GRAY LAWNMOWER!!!!!" in Huttese? Because I would certainly want them to know exactly who is going to atomize their worthless corpuses.

An incredible picture, as usual. But, I'd think it would look even better with the reccomendations made by the others on the board. Keep up the good work!

It looks great. However if the gun is powerful enough to damage tanks, the recoil is going to either rip the gun off or topple the walker.

I don't know what had come over me...I just had that urge to kill and he was there. Now I'm glad you stopped me, because now we can use his weapons to further our destructive powers. :D
