There is nothing wrong with "friendly conversation", but posting a content-less one-liner like that is considered to be spam, with all the punishments appropriate thereto. Don't do that, lest you feel that you
want to receive the Imperial Smackdown(C).
Now
that was a useful description of what not to do in the future. Thank you.

He didn't.
So his mother was sold to someone else, and eventually she died. All because Anakin got all caught up with being a big shot Jedi.
Given how the Jedi are apparently big on NOT letting members maintain family ties what with the no emotional attachments stuff I'm not sure that was actually Anakin's intentional doing so much as a side effect of Order policies.
He blew her off, apparantly never even so much as sent a message or a card.
See above. It's entirely possible the Order didn't LET him.
It became such a painful place that even when he did return, years later, chasing Princess Leia, he sent troops down there to find the droids instead of himsef-- you know, the guy that grew up there, knew the territory, and could probaby "sense" his way around people if they were being evasive about the droids.
Complete non-sequitur. By that time he was moderately important in the ranks of COMPNOR, he HAD the Princess, might not have KNOWN about the Droids in the first place (it's been a while since I saw ANH but I don't think we ever get told one way or the other wether Vader is even AROUND anymore when the Stormies find the leftover 3PO bits) so why would Anakin bother to hang around in the first place for an operation that was moderately routine (or should have been anyway) even if he knew that operation would be neccessary in the first place?
And knew the territory? When he left Tattooine the guy was like 10 years old and likely never went outside Mos Eisley in the first place. Like hell he knew the territory.

Why not spend some to improve his homeworld?
Also why hasn't Tatooine capitalised on Tourism?

I can't recall the exact title of the book, save that it was written by KJA and served as a guide to SW planets/factions in the movies.
In one of the opening pages, it introduced a "tour" to the Owen Lars farm as well as other places Luke Skywalker has visited.

True, but he didn't really seem to be too overly concerned about it. And regardless of whether his mother was involved or not, I'd guess that a slavery ring would be of interest to the Jedi Order... although since Tatooine is "controlled by the Hutts" there may be an inter-jurisdictional thing there. I'm not too clear on how much authority the Jedi had to police throughout the Republic.

The Star Destroyer remained in orbit during the search, didn't it? We later see the ship headed towards the Death Star, presumably with the Princess inside. In fact, the Imperial force there was joined by reinforcements; there were
two going after the
Falcon when they took off from Mos Eisley.
And knew the territory? When he left Tattooine the guy was like 10 years old and likely never went outside Mos Eisley in the first place. Like hell he knew the territory.
He would know more than the two-dozen Stormies would. However, it
is a non-sequiteur because the Stormies were able to figure it out pretty easily.

But Tatooine wasn't part of the Republic. It was, however, part of Hutt Space (IIRC) and since the Hutts were notorious but weren't dealt with before, there had to be some reason for it. I guess rooting out organized crime that's the dominant political entity in a faraway region of space was less important to their agenda than keeping a slowly crumbling Republic relatively peaceful.
