It was never specified and never appeared on any map, but it was said to be in the Deep Core, so I kind of picked a spot at random.
Nirauan's also a mistake; it should be nearer the Remnant, IIRC.
Some more recent maps have included it. The SW Insider map puts it in the Core Worlds, near Coruscant.
About the SW Insider map, I'll scan it in to my comp, then I'll let everybody know when that's done. If anybody wants it then, I'll mail it to them (expect it to be pretty big).

Thanks for the correction though, we'll work in that.
I only wish it wasn't that one article / image you find shows a planet in the outer rim, and the next article you read mentions the same world as being part of the Core worlds... happens more often than not...
Yeah, that is a problem. The new map from SW Insider supposedly fixes a lot of these problems. I can scan the map in, but I don't have webspace for it. So if anybody wants it, I can email it to them.
Maybe Darth Wong would be interested in hosting it. I certainly want it.

If it's smaller than 14MB, I can store it on my website.

Me! I can host it, too.

Nirauan should be between the Remnant and open space. The Unknown Regions are not located within the galactic disk.]
Empress Teta should be near the Core Worlds, but not in the Deep Core, there was little to no colonization of the Deep Core until Palpatine's reign.

According to the Vector Prime map, which this one was based on, the Unknown Regions are part of the galactic disk.

Scientifically and by common sense that is bullshit.
A society with technology allowing for travel across the galaxy in a day or two for over 4,000 years would have completely mapped and colonized the whole disk, furthermore, it is contradicted by another official map in the Behind the Magic CD.
Other official source + logic = map is in error.
Saxton has provided a fix on this as well as commentary explaining the point far better than I ever could in the "Astrophysical Concerns" page of the Tech. Commentaries.

When they made the map, they went through every conceivable source to get all of the planets and hyperspace lanes and everything correct. They charted all of the planets based on varying sources. And they even cleaned up contradicting data from sources and made logical explanations as to why the data conflicted. For example, traveling from Planet A to Planet B to Planet C takes X amount of time. However, traveling from Planet A to Planet C takes Y amount of time. So they put other planets and nebula and objects and whatnot to explain why it would take longer or shorter to get from Planet A to Planet C without traveling to Planet B. So all of the sources for the SW galactic layout don't conflict with each other anymore.

You talking about the one in SW Insider #65?
Sounds like it. I got it too. TOo big to scan on a typical scanner.
Wasn't there another map on the inside of the file binder?

All right, I just got home from work, and it's 00:15, so I'll scan it all in tomorrow. Expect me to be ready to hand it out tomorrow or Tuesday.

Okey dokey, I have the map all scanned into my comp...but now there's a logistical problem.
It's comprised of eight seperate files, averaging about 1.85 megs a piece. Unfortunately, I use hotmail, which doesn't allow for that large a file to be sent. My mom has an account with the mail service of AT&T, which provides our cable...I'll see what the file limit is on that.
In the meantime, I'm going to school. So I'll be back later tonight, if anybody wants to see about getting the map.
