I had an idea what you meant, but I couldn't get the image of Quake3 players jumping around out of my head and the AT-AJ in their place just made too funny a mental image.DPDarkPrimus wrote:I was thinking more along the lines of Steel Battallion.Rob Wilson wrote: Someones been playing a lot of Quake3.

I still don't get why the need for a walker to pass over high obstacles when most repulsorlift and hovering vehicles have a good enough performance and ceiling height to do the same thing. This thing is either highly specialized (more so than the MT-ATs, and probably deployed only on planets that cannot use repulsorlifts, or somesuch disturbances or insanely unnavigatable terrain), or is just a more expensive variation of an AT-ST (due to thrusters in part, but it would most likely need to carrt a full-fledged reactor, as well). Either way, I cant say that I find the design to be very useful or efficient.

Which is why I said, make a few changes and have it as the Upgraded replacement for the AT-ST. Though you need to remember that there will be times where using a repulsor lift will get you noted by it's energy emissions and that's not real useful for a Scout vehicle.Darth Utsanomiko wrote:I still don't get why the need for a walker to pass over high obstacles when most repulsorlift and hovering vehicles have a good enough performance and ceiling height to do the same thing.
