You should be able to rush them right off the bat, kill off their capping squads and builders, and gain map control. After that, you can sit back and tech up.

Not what I was looking for, the setting is set to easy but within the first fifteen minutes I'm being swarmed by Defilers, Chaos Predators, half a dozen squads of Chaos Raptors, and half a dozen more Cultist, and like eight squads of CSM.
Allies?

Tried it, two of them in fact, they seem to work like they're still on easy, making only a couple squads here and there, and they seem to get ignored by the enemy AI in favour of swarming my turrets that I use to keep the smaller groups on easy at bay whilst I fiddle around with testing out new units (A single test in DoWH40k for a single race will last upwards of an hour of just fucking around).

you building you one squad or using multiple enemies as I've never had problems unless I was outnumbered by a rather large degree (in scirmish that is)

Prehaps you'd like to translate that into proper english for the rest of us? :P

are you using just a single squad when testing them, as I've never (at least not on easy) been overwhelmed by the enemy unless I was outnumbered by a rather large degree (as in 3 or more allied enemies at once) in an AI skirmish game

Typically, yeah. That way I can send in the next test squad immediately following their predecessors eventual death.

I'm fairly certain Inquisition: Daemonhunt incorporates the Skirmish AI mod. But on Easy it still shouldn't be absolutely swarming you unless you totally suck. :P If you really want to just test it out, I have the mod and could do multiplayer with you and just not attack while you do your testing.

*Shrug* Okay, your call. I do kind of know what I'm doing in the test department, though; I'm on the playtest team for new versions of Dawn of War Expanded (and the Integrated mod that's adding the Daemonhunters to DoWXP's races), so if you reconsider you know where my PM box is.
