Shit, Bioware's here in Edmonton, too. I should stop by and see if they need any voice talent.

I actually liked Sonic Adventure 2. But I can see why people wouldn't; the Tails/Eggman levels were slow and the Emerald Search levels were painful.Acidburns wrote:Sonic Adventure 2SirNitram wrote:That being said, can you name me a post-16 bit Sonic game that did not reek of an atrocity before God?
I wouldn't worry too much about the character set. If they decide that the characters already present aren't suitable, they'll just create some new ones, I'm sure, since Sonic Team creates new characters so damn often as it is.Praxis wrote:I'm rather shocked, but if Sega's not making it, it could be awesome.
I'm curious the character set. Unfortunately, it'll probably be the current Sonic canon, which is too bad. If it was set in the SatAM universe, it'd be guaranteed to be awesome.
The reason I'm worried is that the current Sonic universe has very little in the form of supporting characters that are decent. Big the Cat, Amy Rose, Shadow, Rouge, Cream & Cheese, and every other supporting character are either annoying (Amy), one-dimensional, both (Big the Cat), or nameless (ALL the humans who pretty much just go by titles, like Mr. President).
Honestly, I think a general Platformer MMO (But I was thinking more along the lines of the Jak/Ratchet & Clank style) would be a lot of fun.General Schatten wrote:I'm leery of this... first comes an RPG and next thing you know...
Next up in the Gaming News, the newest announcement from the Sonic Franchise, Sonic the MMORPG!
