Nothing really new story wise, just a little glimpse into Mike's regular routine. And no, that is not porn on his computer. He knows you are peeking.

Ok. I tried to keep this in order, but I can't. That isn't how this is coming out.
Anyway. A rescue attempt gets sniffed out and ambushed. Trouble ensues. This is just a cover idea.

Super-tasty stuff.
Do you do storyboards?

Mike has a hell of a screen there, and that last piece is really kinetic.

I disbelieve the whole "Mike isn't looking at porn" thing. From what I've gathered from your other pictures, Mike is so much of a badass that he wouldn't care if we knew he was looking at porn.

Mike isn't looking at porn. He is looking at an old case file, trying to see if it matches up with the one he's currently involved in.

I like the art, but:

I'm not the only person to have seen 'Superman Returns'. Best change it to avoid accusations of being a ripoff, e.g., "He put a bullet in my ear. It rang for a damn hour."

Nah, too long. What happened is nothing like what happened in Superman Returns.
Basically Praetorian has been around as long as his name says, since the Roman Empire. He has seen countries rise and fall, come and go. He has a adopted a policy of non interference, but will always offer advice and aide. He is a protector of the Earth and of all it's people, but stays out of political and military affairs.
What happened between him and Mike is that Mike was running an op that was blown. He and his men were being run down and were trying to cross the border into a friendly country... think
Tears of the Sun. Mike however is the only one who makes it. The chasers not respecting the border, close in to kill Mike, when The Praetorian appears and stops them. He had been close by helping out with some agricultural aide. Mike realized that he had been aware of what was going on and could have saved his men, but made the choice not to, until he was on soil that his country was allied with. Mike, completely outraged, shot his last round right into Praetorian's eye. Praetorian then forcibly took him to his embassy in that country and dropped him off like a punished child. Mike didn't like any of it very much. He'll even take pot shots at him if he sees him flying around. Praetorian doesn't like that very much.

More lunchtime drawings. Just a pin up. Maybe a good cover idea if I ever get the damned thing finished.

Another pin up. I'll get back to the story soon.

Main characters pin up. I'm sorta stuck on the story.

MIKE KIDNAPPED!!!
After an exhaustive search by the people in the know about Blank Yellow, and after some colossal failures, (see the pic a little ways up) the search was called off for Agent Mike Whatshisname.
Unbeknown to the Agency, Mike never left Washington D.C. and in fact was being kept in an old C.I.A "safe house" that had fallen off the grid.
Very bad things were done to him here. Including the final atrocity, a lobotomy.
One problem. It didn't take. (Logical reasons why will come to light later... don't want to spoil it all)
Now, Mike, being left for dead, has escaped and he is pissed.
This would be the cover for the issue he finally gets free... if I had issues.

Sorry about the quality and the cropped image. My scanner isn't big enough to do comic book sized boards.

Not to give too much away about the overall plot, why is Agent Mike in trouble with his boys (the CIA), getting captured, tortured and lobotomized by them in an off the books interrogation facility? I wonder if you could sketch the omnious exterior of this CIA "safe-house". Maybe it could be a modern(ish) mansion in a fairly remote woodland area and has 40s/50s architecture with a big slanted chimney that is exposed from the ground up on one side, surrounded by a white compound wall (ten foot high) that is topped with razor wire, lined with CCTV cameras, with only a big set of steel gates and two other smaller security doors being the way in.

Awesome. Who would have thought a man in a slip could look so badass?

Well he took time to fix his hair. That's why he is so pissed. They totally fucked up his dew.

So, if the lobotomy didn't take, I'm guessing he's a Nephelim?
Awesome story.

We are like moments from getting full frontal Mike action there. That may have something to do with how goddamn angry he looks. Because he looks seriously fucking angry. Seriously fucking angry.

This is one of the story ideas that I've had that will lead up to the "final confrontation".

Damn, that's a great piece. All those angels with spread wings, rising up to snatch Mike back down. Luckily, his grip seems firm, as expected of someone so totally ripped.

Cover idea. Not happy with it though cause I don't feel like I captured the action properly.

While I like what you're going for there, I think he looks like he's trying to take a huge dump, and is tearing a sapling out of the ground in the process. While he's not actually squatting, that was my first impression.
