Gears is slated to be a trilogy already. Expect maybe another title next christmas.
They're already re-releasing it on PC with more add-ons and several new chapters. So it's still getting a 1.5 type thing.

Uh... Opposing Fronts is due out very soon. And thanks to the unusual business model they're adopting for the franchise, it practically is a 1.5 sequel.
Good, because I'm getting bored with just Americans and Germans :P

It's not spelling, you half-wit imbecile. It's the WRONG WORD.

A third Knights of the Old Republic. I would not really mind if it did not have any new additional powers, I would just love to see the series finished.

Don't they have to finish the second game first?

No duh. I wanted a grammar nazi image, but that's all I had available.

Apparently I need a nitpicker image too

Nitpicker? Are you suggesting that you actually made a LOGICAL ARGUMENT back there, hence I'm guilty of "nitpicking" it? What kind of a fucking dipshit are you?

The reason "spelling nazis" are reviled is that too many of them are like Maddox. They think they can refute something by pointing out a typo in it, which is in fact a fallacy. That doesn't mean that shitty spelling or grammar are OK, moron.

Isn't "half-wit imbecile" redundant? Or maybe it would be "half-witted imbecile"....

officially it is finished IIRC (sure it's sucky and/or hurried finish with alot of loose threads, but an end none the less).

but I'd like to see how the KOTOR saga ends (like what was Revan's final fate for example).

"Officially" it's finished. It's not actually finished, because Lucasarts didn't want to wait until it was finished and miss the christmas sales rush on the Xbox version (though that was probably self defeating, coming as it did only a month after the release of Halo 2, and sitting well within it's shadow. I don't recall KOTOR2 ever setting the sales charts afire).

In reality, there's actually a fairly large amount of content left on the cutting room floor (some of it's even on the disc, in the form of script and voice files), amounting to a whole other planet and pretty much all the denouement of all the character development throughout the game.

Is there a way, or how do I, get to these files? I was so disappointed with the game, I would like to increase that by hearing what might have been :(

Google Team Gizka. They are the makers of the KotOR2 Restoration Project(however the Project to restore the lost droid planet has died).

I LOVED the cel-shaded style, I would have paid for another one with a similar style, with a new world, more items and dungeons.
Isn't that what we're getting with Phantom Hourglass?

PH isn't really "hasty".

The closest thing to a hasty followup to TWW was Four Swords Adventure.

I dunno about you, but I make the weirdest typing mistakes ever. Words that sound the same, but have nothing in common in meaning. I look at it and literally think, "How did that happen? That's not right at all." I don't look at the keys when I type, sometimes I don't really look at the screen either. I usually just sound it out in my head and let my fingers move. Somehow my fingers sometimes write the sound instead of the word. I'm telling you it happens, and I know because it happens to me (though rarely). And it can't be illiteracy because I know it's wrong. That's why I proofread.

The OP might not have known it was wrong, in fact that's the most likely scenario by far. I'm just pointing-out it's not the only possibility.

Yes, but it's a DS title; it won't look as pretty as a full on console one would look.

And yes, I've played the game, several times. It looks gorgeous for a DS game.

Hey I see Americans misuse the word 'of' on TV all the time! :)

And I'll second GoW. It was a good game, but short, and half-baked mission pack a la 90s games would have been nice.

That game didn't sell worth crap, though.

In any case, it was originally intended to be a game set in the Deus Ex universe, but after the fiasco that was Deus Ex 2 they decided not to have it under the same banner.

Parasite Eve. Not that I think the story really necessitated a sequel but the subsequent game that did come out was so unlike the first one that they could have gotten away with calling it something else entirely.
