is warcraft 3 a good buy?????

It's got quite a few nifty features, and honestly, has Blizzard EVER made a bad game?

Yes, a very good buy. But you can get a special pack at Wal-Mart that contains the cinematic DVD, Warcraft 2 battle.net edition, guide, and of course, the Warcraft 3 disc for only 50 bucks. It's awesome.
Warcraft is unlike Starcraft in that it focuses more on micromanagement than using huge armies. This might turn off some people, but in Warcraft 3 it takes real microing skill to defeat an enemy then rather just throwing a bunch of taunren at him/her. Graphics are pretty good, sound and voice acting is excellent, Human, Undead, and Orc campaings are well done, but the Night Elf campaign was just too short and dull. The World Editor is extremely useful and powerful, especially if you like creating your own maps and if you have the time. There are just tons of custom maps online, and multiplayer is excellent. In short, get it.

Yep... I'm having fun with the map editor. I made the Demon Hunter have Evade, Critical Strike, Bash, and Ressurection. Level him up a bit, and he's practically unstoppable.

Try a fire breathing sheep with Rain of Chaos, Dark Portal, Finger of Death, and Bash.

God, I love that editor.
