Hey Praxis.
You're probably going to get punished by the mods now, for being a fucking asshole.
And for not following the rules about spoilers.

Seriously, this is the equivalent of going into a Harry Potter thread back in July where people are talking about the upcoming book, and spoiling the end of the book.
I would write these posts in nothing but bolded four-letter epitaphs directed at you and your entire family Praxis, but you're not even worth that.

And sadly, Praxis is WRONG and obviously thought he was striking some blow to Halo fans. Dumbass can't even spoil correctly

...because the ending he's trying to spoil is not the legendary ending.
Ah well, never say that dumbass is not a correct title for the moron.

Different difficulty levels have different endings?

Depends what that information is. "Vader is Luke's father" is a tiny piece of information, but it fucks the impact of Empire Strikes Back if you know it going in.
I don't think so. It's still dramatic even if you know how it's going to end. Maybe if a story relies on plot twists instead of drama, spoilers would be devastating to the impact of the story, but those kinds of stories are usually described with adjectives such as "shit".

I'd rather not know how the damn story is going to unfold, thanks. The whole idea of not being spoiled is so the drama and tension make the subsequent twist or plot point have all the more impact. If someone knew the ending to The Usual Suspects before they saw it, it'd just suck.
Which is why fucktards like Praxis deserve public beatings to the genitals for gutting the atmosphere to a story so.

I personally don't care much about seeing the spoilers. If I can't resist looking, I'll always wait until just before I would get the book/game/movie to peek. I'll be seeing the end within a day anyway.

I think over both the past halo games, the Legendery ending was differant, maybe not majorly, but at some level.

Hear hear - I ruined the Prestige for myself because I had already heard the ending from discussions with people who watched it already - when I finally did watch it I realised how much I lost

Yeah, reading about the main plot points to The Prestige ruins an awesome two hours building up to the climax that is genuinely jarring. If you're going to read those spoilers, why not save yourself the time and just read the 5-minute script parodies they have at The Cutting Floor? It's about as entertaining and you still get all the facts in the end.
So The Empire Strikes Back is basically Rebels flee pissed Empire, Luke learns some Jedi shit, confronts Vader. Vader is his father. There. One of the greatest movies of all time and I don't need to have anyone watch it to find out. It's just a lame series of events leading to a plot twist way out left field.
Oh wait, I guess it does matter after all.

That's the aspect of spoilers that bothers me, when some moron deliberately tries to ruin the story for people by forcing spoilers in their face. Otherwise, I'm perfectly happy with spoilers - I go looking for them more often than not. Most of the time I forget about them anyway, so I still get the whole experience

On the nose. Sorry, revealing spoilers can range from small plot twist, to revealing one of the greatest twist ever. In the end, it depends on the viewer...when they watch it in context, not get spoiled and expecting it. As such Praxis and fuckers like him are dumbasses plain and simple.

On the button. The Legendary ending has an extra bit that most of the youtube fuckers missed out, and Praxis is a prat because he cannot even take the time to verify his little stunt.

It doesn't actually take much to spoil something, because it changes the approach of the audience from "find out what's going to happen" to "waiting for X to happen".
Perhaps, but it's still an entertaining movie even with that bit of knowledge. If the movie is no longer entertaining with the spoiler information, then there's some problems with the movie in and of itself.
...or it could be a "twist" movie. You know, like "The Sixth Sense", almost every worthwhile horror film ever made, and the vast majority of murder mysteries?

If it's not worth watching once you know that twist anymore though, then it doesn't seem to have much in the way of replay value. If that's the case, again, maybe the story wasn't that well written. Imo, I prefer judging things on how well the writers handle the lead up to the twist rather than the twist itself.

Well that doesn't change the fact that the major plot points don't change, and I wish nothing more than to crush Praxis' testicles underfoot.

True, but...
It does for Praxis' bit, which is what I want to avoid. Praxis' spoiler is false since, it's not the entire ending...which the Legendary ending clarifies what really happens to MC and Cortana.
I shrunk my response for reasons if you are absolutely wanting to be spoiled, adding the two shouldn't be hard.
As such, I do not disagree with either points, only that this time is a bit different for the former. As for the latter, he deserves it if he had any.

Come on, I didn't want to spoil the REAL ending. And yes, I do know the difference in the legendary.
Anyway, sorry. I clearly ticked off a lot of people and should've thought it through. I'll exit the thread while the rest of you can rightfully shout insults at me.

Can someone post the entire script of Halo 1 and 2 for me please?
Because you know, Bungie spent SO much time working up a story, but then forgot to subtitle it!, and even with 2; they only subtitled half!
