That will probably require digging into the DVDs a bit. From what I have now, it would seem the Devastator is wider than Avenger, but the Avenger is longer.

That is a close match on the brim trench length and hangar dimensions. Some small differences in scaling between hangar and brim trench features doesn't seem unreasonable given they're two different subclasses of ship; the problem is finding a shot on something unmistakably similar, i.e. the KDY tower, scaling the beam from that and then applying it to these ventral views. AFAIK there are no movie dorsal shots of the devastator out there, but I'll keep looking for model shots. I have a feeling it will be similar to the comparison in the bottom half of _comp1.jpg, where avenger looks like it's ~80-90% the beam of devastator, but 5-10% longer.
