Saavik (both Kirstie Alley and Robin Curtis) was quite attractive, as well.
Personally...I thought Robin Curtis's portreyal of Saavik was rather poor...she acted deadpan, almost like T'pau whereas Kirstie Alley's character actually showed emotion.(it was very sutble)Agreed. Though I shade toward Kirstie myself.

Selar had blue eyes?! Are you absolutely sure about that? I don't recall ever having seen a blue-eyed Vulcan. Also, Susie Plakson, who played Selar, also played a shitload of other chicks in ST (TNG onward). She played K'ehleyr, one of the only boneable Klingon chicks I've seen (yeah, it's icky, but I'd boink a Klingon chick if she was cute and had been showered and force-fed Listerine). Plakson also played Mrs. Q. I don't recall ever seeing blue eyes in there.

It's not the short hair as much as it is so obviously a wig, and an ugly one at that. Audrey Hepburn made short hair look good (e.g. Sabrina, Roman Holiday ). But one of the things that is so off-putting about T'pol is that everything about her is fake and designed to maximise her sluttiness as well. Like a animated blow-up doll.
