Thanks for that link, weemadando. The video is full of bullshit. My favorite part is when he claims you have to believe in God and creationism to have moral responsibility.

It's too bad we do not know what else Dawkins said.

Scientific American interviews Mark Mathis of Expelled

In short,
- SA destroys Mark's arguments
- Mark Mathis is a lying piece of shit
SA: The film tries to show that all scientists who believe in evolution are part of an atheist conspiracy. Why didn't you interview someone like Ken Miller who is a devout christian and believes in evolution?

Mathis: We felt that would confuse the point of the film.
Yes, all is black & white. Anyhting else would be confusing for IDiots indeed

Ben Stein, raving dull-voiced moron wrote:Darwinism doesn't explain how the planets stay in their orbits.
I thought Copernicus and Isaac Newton and Galileo were the ones who did that. :?

It's blatant and obvious straw grasping...

Sadly, there're idiots who're going to smile and nod... and say, "Yah know, Ah never thought o it laihk dat."

I guess—it's just hard to believe anyone would fall for this. I mean I can see through the gaping holes in this thing, and I'm not what you'd call the brightest person around.

It's less about intelligence, and more about what delusions you subscribe to.

The folks who would buy into it, already have a bias against science and are simply looking for things to support their flailing world view.

You know what's really insulting to me? Even when all the media outlets slam his idiot documentary, they turn around and start giving him editorial space. (By the way, it's his rambling on peak oil. This is my only warning.) And they have the gall to end it with:
Ben Stein is a lawyer, writer, actor and economist.
DPDarkPrimus is my boyfriend!

SDNW4 Nation: The Refuge And, on Nova Terra, Al-Stan the Totally and Completely Honest and Legitimate Weapons Dealer and Used Starship Salesman slept on a bed made of money, with a blaster under his pillow and his sombrero pulled over his face. This is to say, he slept very well indeed.
