Ask Spanky later tonight for more examples of how much they hate our species, including their ties (iirc) to the IRA.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

THEY ACTUALLY SAY THAT?!NF_Utvol wrote:I don't know if they have ties to the IRA or not, but they definitely have ties to domestic terrorism organizations, they also CONDONE TO SMALL CHILDREN ON THEIR WEBSITE illegal activities. In the state of Tennessee, as well as most states, it is illegal to disrupt hunting activities on public or private land, of which they have hand books on ways to do it. They also spread BS about how most farmers are evil people who enjoy torturing cattle. They aren't. Farmers and ranchers rely on their cattle to be healthy, well fed, and in good physical condition. It is their livelyhood. If they make their cattle suffer, then that results in lower amounts of money they can get, and can put them under. In fact, every farmer I know, including family members and close friends, greatly respects their livestock. PETA is full of nutcases who don't have a lick of common sense, plain and simple.
PETA doesnt seem to understand that these cattle are probably living better lives then most humans in third world countries...NF_Utvol wrote:I don't know if they have ties to the IRA or not, but they definitely have ties to domestic terrorism organizations, they also CONDONE TO SMALL CHILDREN ON THEIR WEBSITE illegal activities. Yes, they think that farming is evil. They think that all animals on farms are mistreated and beaten. They also condone ways to disrupt legal hunting activities on public and private lands, a highly illegal activity.fgalkin wrote:THEY ACTUALLY SAY THAT?!NF_Utvol wrote:I don't know if they have ties to the IRA or not, but they definitely have ties to domestic terrorism organizations, they also CONDONE TO SMALL CHILDREN ON THEIR WEBSITE illegal activities. OMFG!Eddie, my boy friend, refuses to quit eating meat or to believe that animal suffering is as widespread as PETA says it is. He says PETA is no authority on animals, that it’s just a propaganda mill that pulls off outrageous stunts to get publicity for itself. What can I tell him?
—Kelly B.
Tell Eddie to take off the blinders while you show him "Meet Your Meat," available from PETA, and other videos available from PETA. Pictures really can be worth a thousand words.
PETA is an authority, in spades, on animal suffering. One of our toughest jobs is choosing which horrors we’ll focus on on any given day—there are so many vying for our attention. Any decent person who saw the cruelty we here at PETA deal with on a daily basis would join in our sometimes outlandish stunts to make the public face the facts. It’s tough to break through the walls that society has put up in order not to know, and the animal abuse industries thrive on this apathy. But the animals, billions of them, desperately need everyone to know ... and care!
I doubt that Eddie will remain unmoved, but if he does, it’s time for you to move—away from him and toward a guy with a heart in his chest and a brain in his head, instead of rocks in both places
No, my example is worse. It shows that PETA is actually trying to brainwash ordinary people and dominate their lives. "Your boyfriend doesn't believe in our bullshit ideals! Dump him, quick!"Enricko wrote:You know, there is worse. PETA is the biggest gang of bastards ever! Read :

Most of the lassies that I've been out with have been vegitarians...though I can usually talk them round to my position with the simple fact that we are naturally an omniverous species and that they all had to take vitiman supplements because they were missing out on important vitimans obtainable through animals....fgalkin wrote:No, my example is worse. I don't tihnk they're crazy enough to be terrorists, but they do, however, give money to groups that are classified as terrorists, such as the ELF, which in the past, has vandalized and burned houses and SUVs.jaeger115 wrote:Bastards. Of course Bush should classify them as a domestic terrorist organization, but he doesn't have the balls to do that.

I suppose the disection one might be alright....though the rest is pure bs.....as for the cancer crap....not eating meat can result in serious deficencies of various vitimans and minerals...and that'll get you a lot faster...and leave you open to other problems....Captain tycho wrote:This is too much for me too bear.....Enricko wrote:You know, there is worse. Just to be fair, the mountain lion problem in CA is more an issue of human expansion. A huge amount of construction occurred into mountain lion habitat during the 90's. Conflict is bound to happen. However, the stupid PETA people do not want to allow wild pig hunting which I think is very important to protect the health of the parks here.Look at California, for example, PETA and their cronies have gotten mountain lion hunting banned, and now the cougars are losing their fear of humans. They have begun eating pets, scraps, and small children.
