I don't think you made final nominations...
I was talking about being nominated. Don't you need more than one nomination

I would just like to say great job on the ceremony Dalton! And congrats to Stravo and all the others that walked away with a GSDA. It was a pleasure rounding out the top five beside the steamroller that is Stravo.

SHIT!!!
I'm gone for the day and when I come back what do I see????
THE GSDA Ceremony and everyone read it before I got to it.
First of all THANK YOU to every single one of my fans. I am HUMBLED by the accolades received today and I'm not sure what else I can say except that I will strive to make sure that the quality of the work and the stories that have entertained you so well this last year will continue apace.
I'm now gunning for ALL the awards next year MUUHAHAHHHAHHHH!!
Just kidding.
Anyway I also want to say congratulations to all the authors who were nominated, winning the awards this year against such powerful and in some case legendary contenders makes a man extremely proud of the hard work.
And Dalton, many thanks to you for your hardwork in putting this thing together and making me laugh out loud many times, something that usually does not happen.

Glad I could amuse you

One of my callings in life is to make people laugh.

No. We enacted that rule because of Chuck

This has been cool. Thanks Dalton, and congrats to all who won.
Stravo, you awards-sweeping maniac you! What is your secret!?
Just out of curiosity, do you have to nominate your own story, or does someone else have to do it, and do you have to have more than one person nominate?
I'd like to see if some of my works would be considered fro awards sometime in the future, but I write almost exclusively originl stories: original universe setting, characters, etc. In fact I only have one crossover so far posted; the one with Aliens and my own, original universe! And one Star Wars post, but it is really just a character intro. Would that stuff even qualify? I am under the impression that the GSD award is primarily for crossovers, so my stuff wouldn't qualify...

Maybe, maybe not. Non-crossovers can qualify for certain categories. Next year though the GSDAs are undergoing some major changes, so stay tuned.

I'm thinking the awards will all be presented through the miracle of interpretive dance.

Much as I love ya Chuck...no. I'd rather rub my nuts with a cheese grater.

Oooh! I volunteer to rub Dalton's nuts in the cheese grater, but only if I can keep the cheese grater afterwards!
