Bah, I still think this old ad for the GBA SP (based off an even older ad for the GB Light, IIRC) takes the cake. Simple, yet effective.

But the tank... is so wildly unimpressive that it kind of boggles. And it's not even to scale, is it? you couldn't fit a single space marine in that thing. It's got no guns, it looks like a turd-shaped rhombus, and it's crushing piece of crap cars in a farmer's field. That thing would get stuck on SO many kinds of landscape, too, and it sounds like a lawnmower.

Equip it with flamethrowers and drive it through a dried up corn patch, and maybe we'll talk. But until then, it inspired absolutely nothing of interest in me for the new game.

Toss in the LOTR Orks and Jeremy Clarkson and then Maybe....

Or give it the Alien treatment - cover it in Vaseline, turn all the lights out, and only shoot extreme close-ups under strobing lights. Never overexpose something so disappointing.

Oh, and overdub some real engine noise, it sounds like two golf carts in a tug-of-war.
