Just wondering, Chuck, when are you going to treat yourself and review a good episode of...say, DS9?

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

With no women,
They mention people born in space as part of the uncounted crew, so they do have women.

Or basically a good episode of anything. I like Chuck's reviews, but it would be nice to see him reviewing something he enjoys. Recently it all seems like pretty bad episodes.

A psychologist might say something about "hidden audio-visual masochistic tendencies".

And I second the idea of a good-Trek review that highlights that there are good episodes. Preferably with references to episodes that utterly fail at the same script idea/directing etc.

:luv: Can't wait to get the next review.

I might be doing one this weekend that's good, depends on whether or not I have enough time to put the polish on it.

By the way, I know I don't spend anywhere near as much time responding as I should (if at all), but I do really appreciate the feedback, and I always take time to read through it to see how to improve and to find your own insights based on the discussions. Thanks to everyone at SD.net (again!).

I wonder what crew rotation on those ships seem as it could be hard to get people to sign on for 5 year trips with little to no reward (and wouldn't this mean that once you've gotten a full crew it remains more or less the same with children replacing their parents and so forth).
