Nein. Your first cousin once removed would be the niece or nephew of one of your grandparents. For example, my grandmother's brother Pascuale has two sons, Anthony and Dominick. They are both my first cousins once removed. Their children are my second cousins once removed. If your cousin has a child, that child would be your second cousin, as is the case with my cousin Ray's kids Ray Jr. and Amanda.

"Removed" refers to a generational step. The child of a first cousin is a fist cousin once removed.

And it's second cousin. I've got three, thanks to my cousin who's 20 years older than I am. I've only seen one, though, since his family's in Berlin. The other two were born after the last time he returned to the States.
