TR2N -- Tron Legacy Trailer/Test Footage (minor spoilers)

That clip sounds an awful lot like the speeder bike sequence in Return of the Jedi...

What is to tell? It opens with Flynns son looking all confused and sad at his fathers disapperence for the last 25 years. He enters the remains of the old broken down abandon flynns arcade(they got every detail right, the recognizer neon lights, flynns old office with his old ass computer he was hacking with in the first film, etc..) he comes upon a flynns token/home of tron.(which they handed out at the panel and I have three of.) he then picks it up and and spots the Tron arcade machine which all of a sudden comes to life and the light cycles pops up on screen. I can go on if you would like?

I was actually more interested in what about it made it you feel that the full film would be "epic", rather than a blow-by-blow account of what happened.

...and 3 tokens for yourself, damn your eyes!

Well it just felt like it was 1982 again, and Tron was brand new. Not much more I can say cause It was just the first few minutes, we did get to see the light cycle footage again and I was all giddy.

Note the "precipitation" in a picture or two in the slideshow. Interesting, but it's certainly not without precedent of sorts, given the liquid energy/water that Tron, Flynn and Ram drink in the first film.
