I know how much you all hate Captain Janeway.
I know some of you hate me for respecting her more so than I respect half my family.
But, what if....

Janeway was born in the Empire, and found her way to the Imperial Ranks. Living the ruthless Imperial Life, what kind of person would she be?

I'm guessing a bad ass. You dont mess witht he Coffee Goddess as it is, IMHO.

Well, she seems to be somewhat impulsive and definitely foolhardy and headstrong. Foolhardy officers don't seem to live very long in the Empire.

I would imagine Janeway gaining rank by some fluke. Maybe an even stupider officer promoted her or the computers screwed up and recorded her as being competent and ready for a promotion.

So Imperial officer Janeway makes some stupid Voyager-esque blunder, only to later die at the force choke of Vader.

Vader: “Janeway, I am most displeased with your recent actions.

Janeway (in her nasal, chain smoker voice): “Lord Vader, please let me explain…”

Vader: “I have had enough of your explanations.”

Janeway: “Gasp… ack… please… ugggg”

I can think of alot of female officers in the imperial navy. Infact I rmember two or three of them with thier own commands.

There was a Female commander of one of Isards Destroyers during the Bacta War. Her Star Destroyer became the Errant Venture hardly a sparkeling career there. The only other female commander i can thing of is Admiral Tavara or something from I, Jedi. She bought her Destroyer, the Invidious, for an insane amount of money from High Admiral Teradoc.

Yea, one of them was the other Emporers Hand wasn't she? She ended up having his kid in Children of The Jedi. Don't ask me to give a name because I never bought Children Of The Jedi, but I do know that in Rebel Stand it turns out Leia didn't kill him, he'd been on Coruscant and he had been altered by his mother and a scientist or something and he broke free so Luke, Mara nad Tahiri had to go and kill him.
