Even so! That's still the single most bizarre thing I've read this entire year. Possible this decade. I mean, fucking really, I cannot wrap my brain around the absurdity of that statement.

All you need to remember is four letters: ACLU.

If they did indeed annotate it then their annotations are going to run counter to what Republicans tend to believe about the Constitution. If they didn't annotate it, well, it's still a box marked ACLU, so these kind of people are going to see it as their duty to investigate so that the young minds in the classroom aren't damaged by unAmerican ideas, so to speak.
