Ugh, no. The ambiguity of the ending of the original story is one of the best parts. To then go "And then Rorschach undoes everything, making the whole thing useless" would just reek of cash cow syndrome. Like this does already.

I agree. I was just tossing out a few ideas to show that they could go somewhere with the story if they wanted to.
Even if it was good I think that in the long run anything other than great would diminish the original series by association and from watering it down. I kind of feel that way about Kingdom Come already considering how DC has been milking that (the Kingdom, Kingdom Come Superman in the JSA etc...) for all it's worth.



One thing of Moore's that I like that people generally don't mention is Marvelman (aka Miracleman). The funny thing there is that Moore has absolutely no say in what is done with it but I'd guess that there's only a slightly greater chance of more Marvelman stuff getting done than there is for more Watchmen stuff getting done.

I also liked Moore's Top Ten. Tom Strong was okay. I didn't like Promethea. LXG has been pretty good but I didn't like the Black Dossier.

I hadn't heard about Marvelman getting a new series. The last I had seen about the character was the variation/rip-off version that McFarlane had showing up in the Spawn books as the "Man of Miracles".

Wikipedia still has the issue kind of jacked up but it looks like there has at least been some progress since Marvel bought the rights to Marvelman from the original creator. Maybe that also means there won't be any problems with the character being Marvelman (although I liked the name Miracleman) since Marvel will be publishing the new books.

Isn't that how its spelled? I thought raped is the closing and rapped is the sexual act.

Rape is a subset of sexual assaults. Wrapped is "finished, closed neatly."
