Not at all. Only the "rubber" portion of the armor can be penetrated by such weapons. Wrong. It was protected by blast doors and stormtroopers and light mechanized defenses. The front entrance was EXTREMELY well protected. Try to pay attention during the film.4) The bunker had absolutely NO defense systems.

It'd stand up to most small arms fire today. But once you get into heavy caliber weapons like heavy machine guns and heavier sniper rifles it gets questionable.
