He just didn't look terribly good in drag...ugh.NF_Utvol wrote:Now, generally, I have no problem with homosexuals. Heck, they aren't hurting me, and, as long as they don't hit on me, I am fine with it. Might not 100% agree with it, but, hey, whatever floats yer boat.Hotfoot wrote: <snip>
And now I remember the pictures of my first-year roomie in drag...guh.
But this drag crap.
There is a difference between being a homosexual and being an insult to your dang sex.
WTF?
What is the point about dressing up like a woman?
All I know is that if my Roomie came in drag one night, I would start locking him out of the dang room...
What, planning on coming to visit?Vorlon1701 wrote:Wait, which university is this?
That's an odd thought on some people's part.Zaia wrote:Ever notice how guys who dress up in women's clothes are frowned upon and seen as strange--perverted even--yet when women dress in men's suits and the like, no one bats an eyelash?
Someone told me they thought that was because it was demeaning for men to dress as women because they were dressing down in station, like the master of the house dressing as the servant.
Girls in boxershorts, now that was a good idea.Zaia wrote:Ever notice how guys who dress up in women's clothes are frowned upon and seen as strange--perverted even--yet when women dress in men's suits and the like, no one bats an eyelash?

You mean real lesbians aren't like the ones in all my porno videos? Dammit.Kelly Antilles wrote:Go to a NCAA Women's basketball game. I spent the entire weekend surrounded by ACC alumni and lesbians. I honestly do not mean to be sexist when I say this, but how come gay guys are usually really cute (and I don't mean effeminate) and most lesbians are fairly not pretty?
My apologies to Marina and IB if this is offensive. I did not say all. I just noticed a huge amount.

MOST men. I've seen some men wearing women's clothing that women have passed by and gone "bitch", including myself.Ghost Rider wrote: Mine thought of guys dressing as girls is that men don't lookas good as women, in female clothing, but in general women look better then men in men's clothing.
My personal opinion is that pants and shirts are fairly unisex. A girl can look good in a pair of jeans and a collered shirt just the same way a man can. However, most guys just don't have the right body for a dress.Zaia wrote:Ever notice how guys who dress up in women's clothes are frowned upon and seen as strange--perverted even--yet when women dress in men's suits and the like, no one bats an eyelash?

I'm guessing it's because of culture. In our culture, "men's" clothing, such as pants, are considered to be more natural on a woman than women's clothes a man.Zaia wrote:Ever notice how guys who dress up in women's clothes are frowned upon and seen as strange--perverted even--yet when women dress in men's suits and the like, no one bats an eyelash?

HAHAHAHA!!!!! Not ALL gay guys are cute... Find me a cute guy, I'll show you a hot lesian (seriously)! Down here, cute gays are hard to come by. Good looking lesbians... not so hard.Kelly Antilles wrote:Go to a NCAA Women's basketball game. I spent the entire weekend surrounded by ACC alumni and lesbians. Actually, if a woman started wearing a codpiece around, I'd be a little disturbed. However, I can proudly say that Scotsmen wear kilts and can look damn good while doing so.Zaia wrote:Ever notice how guys who dress up in women's clothes are frowned upon and seen as strange--perverted even--yet when women dress in men's suits and the like, no one bats an eyelash?
I'd say that someone was reading a wee bit too much into it. Personally, I just thought my roomie didn't look good in drag, especially not in the ensamble he chose to wear (fishnets? Eugh...). As Kelly said, some guys can pull it off, I've seen a few who made me do a double take. Other guys...well, not so much so.Someone told me they thought that was because it was demeaning for men to dress as women because they were dressing down in station, like the master of the house dressing as the servant.
Should come up here. Plenty of good-looking guys. Thought the actual number's dipped some, the Drama Department still draws a lot, as I understand it.verilon wrote:HAHAHAHA!!!!!
