and the same guy was able to escape from a Jedi even when said Jedi was in full Masters of Teras Kasi mode with his leaping

then again those Prequel Jedi are so inconsistent and never use their powers intelligently

The Revan novel demonstrates that drugging inhibits a Jedi's connection to the Force, and iirc in FotJ: Outcast, lots and lots of concrete as well.

Distracting a Jedi seems to work pretty well too. If you force them to block blaster bolts, they won't use any active force powers (stuff other than speed/strength enhancements and precognition) on you.

Or PIS. Which is why Grevious does not immediately die to any Jedi padawan.
