Yeah, worked out so fine for them, didn't it?

Jim Kelly's cancer has returned, and his prognosis is poor.
Ralph Wilson has died peacefully, aged 95.

Feel bad for Kelly, though I do like his take on 0-4.
How much written here about
Wilson being a giant egocentric asshole is true?

I can't remember anyone having anything that bad to say about Wilson. Unless you want to count the people who thought he was crazy for not taking the team to another city and cashing in.

Didn't he vote against the CBA because the players were making too much money?

Watching the harbaugh video...we might want to sign a walrus. It would sure clog up the middle and slice up the opposing line...

RAY RICE may go to prison.
Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was indicted by a grand jury Thursday on third-degree aggravated assault for allegedly striking his fiancée unconscious last month.
Rice was arrested and charged with simple assault-domestic violence on Feb. 15 after a physical altercation with his fiancée, Janay Palmer, at the Revel Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. Palmer also was charged with simple assault.
Conviction of a third-degree crime in New Jersey carries a potential prison sentence of at least three years and up to five years, and a fine that could be up to $15,000.
Too bad we cannot cut him without being on the hook for a massive cap hit.

And the Raiders may actually be competitive this year.

No, but Ralph Wilson thought they were which is why he voted against the CBA.
I think you got me confused with him there.

I don't know why, but I'm always surprised that big money sports contracts don't have some kind of morals clause built in. I guess the various players' unions would never allow something like that.

Yeah, that is the reason. After all, one would think Hernandez would lose his money, but no, the patriots are still paying him - even if he is convicted.

Like the good little brother he is, Jim Harbaugh took it upon his niners to make sure we were not the only assholes around:
According to the San Jose police, they received a call at around 10:21 a.m. reporting that a bicyclist had been struck by a car with fled the scene at Tully near Senter Road in San Jose.
An eyewitness saw the accident and followed Culliver’s vehicle until he cornered him in the area of Mekler Court. He attempted to block Culliver’s vehicle from leaving.
Authorities said Culliver got out of his car, threatened the eyewitness with brass knuckles and then got back into his vehicle and fled. In the process, he struck the eyewitness’ car.
He was arrested for felony hit and run for striking the bicyclist, reckless driving causing an injury, felony possession of brass knuckles and misdemeanor hit and run for the striking the vehicle.

The Eagles cut their best receiver because of alleged gang connections. I'm not sure what to make of this other than fallout from the Aaron Hernandez fiasco.

He's also been flashing gang signs on the field, was warned about it, and still did it a couple more times.

Jets signed Chris Johnson. Hesitant to get too excited about this right now. Rumors of knee problems and his declining production coupled with the Jets own fading O-line makes me wary.
That said, even if he IS in his declining years, he's the best RB they've had since Curtis Martin.

Chris Johnson, Eric Decker, and Vick. You might be able to some offensive production out of that.
Or Vick gets hurt, so Decker can't grab anything that Geno "I-N-T" Smith hurls skyward, and Johnson gets mobbed anytime he goes near the ball. Still, their prospects do look a little better this season.

Hey Hav, which of our team has got the worser offseason so far? I was going to say BAL (because Ray Rice) but now with Aldon Smith, Culliver and all the other drama I'm kinda leaning towards it being a wash so far.

Isn't Aldon Smith well on his way to being fired? The sad truth is that I don't think Ray Rice would ever be fired, unless he was convicted and was going to prison.

Niners are not going to cut Aldon Smith.
Ray Rice being cut is a real possibility. He sucked, has off field trouble and the Ravens are looking for starter RBs in the draft, by their own statement. Cutting Ray Rice after June 1st saves 4 mil as well.
