Surf 2 OK, first, there was no Surf 1. Basically, two surfer dudes save their town from a evil scientist who creates a soda pop that turns surfers into zombies that play bad punk rock. IIRC, one of Eric Stolz's first movies.
Get Crazy Max Wolfe tries to save his Saturn Theatre -- by throwing one last New Year's show -- from an evil land developer that wants the property to build a high rise. Silly as all get out, but includes musical performances by Captain Cloud (Howard Kaylan of the Turtles moonlighting as a hippy) Lee Ving from Fear, Bill Henderson, John Densmore (of the Doors), Malcolm McDowell (!!) as a Mick Jagger spoof, and Lou Reed. Very bad, but one of my all times favorites. Also stars Robert Picardo (the doc from Voyager).
"Damn, this is a one way street!"
"Yeah, but I'm only going one way."
"Omigod, where is the bomb?"
"I got the bong, man..."

Sounds like a porno to me.

Slave Girls from Beyond Infinity was not a porn but it could have been very easily. It would only have needed some Actual sex scenes and the typical bad music from porn movies. It did have the bad acting, worse dialogue, and non-sense plot. But any movie with babes in leather bikinis is good in my book!

IIRC, the best you see of me is like half my face. But I'd really dig that!
BTW, "Get Crazy" is also one of my favorites for this category.

Freddy Wanker! And his 747 has a hand wrapped around it! Hehe.

Yeah, Malcolm McDowell played a great spoiled indulgent rockstar (Reggie Wanker, btw

). I have the soundtrack on vinyl too, somewhere around here. IIRC, it includes all three versions of Hootchie-Coochie man.

Besides BTILC I like Ghosts of Mars, Escape from L.A., Christine and Escape From New York although the last two probably qualify as a good movies.
Escape From L.A. is weird. There is sooo much about it that is bad but I still manage to kind of like it. Part of it is because of Snake Pliken, he's just cool. Plus I like "Funddie America" and Snake stickin' to everyone in the end but the surfing, the Surgeon General of Beverly Hills

it is soooo bad. How about the finally battle scene where they are all flying around on hangliders, tossing grenades and shooting guns?

Space Mutiny: Which I have only viewed during Mystery Science Theater 3000
The plot is basically a colony ship is faced with a mutiny by its "enforcer" security personal. You can tell things are bad when it starts out using recycled Battlestar Galactic external shots. Later it gets even better then the ships engine room appears to have large windows with sun shining through them, concrete floors and cinderblock walls. Not to mention mazes of corded pipes.

I've always liked Godzilla vs. Megalon and vs. Gigan more than the average G-Fan. Does that count?

I think so. From a pure cheesy mahem point of view I find those two movies more entertaining than DAM which IMO is overrated because of nostalgia. Then again, that might be why I like the two you mentioned since I saw them in the theater as a kid.

I can't believe nobody has voted for
Relic yet! Let's see: American scientist goes to South America, finds native tribe, breaks some taboo or other, gets force-fed some stuff that turns him into a raving monster with the DNA of parts lizard, parts human, parts something or other and another something or other and gets sent back in a box basically. His collegues are first puzzled when people disappear and they later turn up minus their brains and then they gradually begin discovering what had happened and so forth... Not to mention that the critter morphs every time it kills, and grows in size despite not having any sustenance, and they have a device that completely maps the genetic structure of organisms in an 30 minutes or something. That movie fits the definition of being so bad that it can't help being good (for absolute gales of laughter, but nothing else).
Aargh, the horror!

I always thought that vs Gigan would be good fodder for a kicka$$ remake. Gigan is a very cool monster, and I kinda admired Anguirus for getting the crap kicked out of him and yet coming back to slam Ghidrah.
